Two that are new to me
- Over My Dead Body - We all have limits. And some people who are pushed beyond those limits will do unspeakable things. In “Tally,” the first season of OVER MY DEAD BODY, Dan and Wendi are two good-looking attorneys whose wedding is featured in the New York Times. But when this “perfect” couple falls apart, it leads to a bad breakup, a worse divorce, and a murder case involving a menagerie of high-priced lawyers and unexpected co-conspirators. From Wondery, the team that brought you “Dirty John” and “Dr. Death,” “Tally” is a story that says as much about love and marriage as it does about justice, revenge, and the lengths some people will go to get what they want. Hosted by Matthew Shaer.
- The High Low - A weekly pop-culture / news podcast brought to you by Dolly Alderton & Pandora Sykes.
2 British girls talk about current events, books, screen (TV/movies), trends etc
I am new to podcasts but have become addicted. I mostly listen in the car on the way to work or running errands. I find the radio tedious now - so many ads, such little content
Care to share what you have loved or what is new to you?

Who the hell is Hamish? is a great new-ish Australian podcast about a scammer. It is by a respected Aus journo and is really compelling listening.

I just started listening to Mobituaries by Mo Rocca. He delves into the backgrounds of celebrities and other historical figures (the one about Chang and Eng was really interesting.)

The only one that can sustain my limited attention span isn’t new, but itis called Night Vale. I just started reading the stand alone books and written versions of the podcast and am enjoying them as well. It is super weird, but laugh out loud hilarious to me.

It makes me feel sick listening to what he did to people. I cannot imagine the distress you would feel losing your life savings in such a way

Wow great ideas!
My top recommendation (though not new at all) is My Dad Wrote a Porno. It's hysterical. Next are Homecoming and Sandra (again not new). The Life Coach School, think of it as therapy lite in podcast form. Very good. And if you enjoy Canadian politics and news, the very excellent Day 6 and Power & Politics podcasts.

If you are into politics at all, Rachel Maddow’s Bag Man was excellent. It is about Spiro Agnew while he was VP.

Dirty John was fantastic. I listened to it then watched it on Netflix.
Cold was so captivating. I love "true crime"- it really makes fighting traffic every morning a little more tolerable.
I will be noting new suggestions.

There’s one about Ted Kennedy that’s great too but I can’t remember the name. Buried is good, about a cold missing persons case. My absolute favorite is Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me. Wish it was daily instead of weekly. Mike Rowe’s The Way I Heard It is nice and light/interesting .

Over my dead body
bear brook- a case in New Hampshire about a barrel found with 2 dead bodies in it and then 15 years later another barrel found 309 feet away from it. Interesting case.
Root of evil- just started and about a family with many deep and dark secrets.
Someone knows something- latest season was about a teenage girl killed in a small Canadian town. Guy goes back and talks with the family and witness and tries to find out who killed her.
And always a good one: Casefile- episodes about the missing and murdered in Australia.

It’s alarming that so many of us found each other through scrapbooking but also enjoy a good crime podcast. 🤔😉

Date With Dateline is my new favorite. They dissect a recent episode of Dateline with the perfect amount of snark. I love their fascination for Keith Morrison.

Stuff You Should Know -
I learned about Lake Peigneur in Louisiana and how in 1980 an oil rig accidentally drilled thru to a salt mine that was under the lake and it created a whirlpool as the lake drained into the salt mine and it sucked 11 barges and a tugboat into the mine then as water from the canal also poured into the mine it eventually filled and caused the whirlpool to reverse and 9 of the barges popped back out. It was a fascinating story that I had never heard about before.

The Gladiator. It is a story about Aaron Hernandez the NFL football player who committed murder & hung himself. I am not a football fan or a sports fan at all & I found this podcast absolutely fascinating.
