It will definitely be a no for me. I don't really care for the sneaks so it's unlikely I will like the kit.

I like how hero arts think outside the box for themes for their kits. BUT lately all of their designs have been so limited. I can probably make 1-2 cards with their kit and would never give out cards like these to anyone. I am just not feeling their kits lately. They need to make something more main stream and less themed kits.

I think the cards are beautiful but...I agree, not very versatile and unlikely to appeal to the average cardmaker who is making cards to GIVE (vs cards for art)

This is nitpicky thing, but I don't like that they put quotes around "La vita e bella." (I realize I just did, but that's because I was quoting it!) I don't believe it's a direct quote from anyone, just a common saying, so the quotes (especially single quote marks) don't make any sense. My parents have lived in Italy and travel there often, so I might consider something like this, but that really bugs me. (If I did decide to buy it, I'd probably cut the quote marks off the stamp.)

Agreed! I might use quote marks if I was referring to the movie of that name, but they're totally unnecessary here. And I would argue, they don't do anything for the graphic design either. There are enough flourishes + the accent - no one needs little random quotey things as well. I did look up rules for using single quotes because I like nitpicking and I wasn't clear on how they should be used correctly and maybe the designer felt this usage fell into their using a quote in a headline category, but I disagree. I'm sure people on YT will do lovely artistic things with this but it's not something I need for the cards I make. I'm curious to see what puns Card Cut Ups comes up with for this one. I think he'll be challenged.

I think the cards are amazing but I don’t think I would actually use them.

All the previews just look like variations on each other. Minus the 1 white card.
That kit looks so sad and empty.

I am thinking I will be scrapping my Mediterranian cruise on iNSD weekend, and we did spend a few days in Venice, but for a couple of pages in a vacation album I think it would make more sense to get some papers, rather than a stamp and die set. Love their blended ink skies, though.

Wait...this is worth more in retail value (they are saying it's worth over $90 but the usual value is about double the kit cost) than their usual kits with fewer dies and half the stamp size? No freaking way.
Also no coordinating dies...does this mean they bowed to Sizzix or was it just the theme of the kit?

I bet the retail value is higher because the dies are all solid instead of just being the outlines. I'd imagine more metal means higher costs.

I'm 99% sure the accent on the e is going the wrong way. Stuff like that makes me CRAZY. I call it "fake fancy" (as if I'm the "real fancy" one! ). Then again, my Italian is way rusty...

You're right! A quick google search confirmed. why do designers/artists not use google?? It's like spelling the word wrong.

It’s kind of cool. Too bad I scrapped all of my Italy pictures last week. I still probably wouldn’t have bought just for that. I like the way the dies all fit together for the perspective, but like others said, is that something you would make repeated use of?

The stamps are kind of cute but I’d never use the dies. Pass.

If you're going to use a foreign language, at least check spelling. Accents don't go whichever way up or down because it looks prettier to you and are not interchangeable between all Romance languages. Geez. Show some respect. La vita è bella. Short E. It's literally the name of one of the most famous Italian movies. How hard was it to check Google Images for a DVD cover?
