Democrats never seemed to care about it before now. SMH. Who thinks it's normal to go in for a "face feel" within seconds of meeting someone new?? Republicans/conservatives STILL don’t care about it, after all, they stand by and support a pussy grabbing, walk in on naked women, kiss them even if they don’t want it POTUS. It’s only a problem for republicans when it’s a democrat doing it. Right? Why isn’t it okay to hold potus accountable for doing the same where you expect others to be held to a certain standard of behavior? Hypocrisy is astounding.

I'm too tired to deal with getting a photo so I'll just provide a link to an article that has the photo I wanted to post. When I first heard about a woman complaining about this I immediately thought of the photo in the article of Joe with the biker chick. I remembered when it surfaced during the last Obama campaign and the Peas were in an uproar about how Joe was behaving in this photo. I think we actually had a video back then. Joe doesn't know personal space
I think Joe is just clueless about a lot of things and personal space is one of them. I don't think he does it to be creepy but he needs to keep his hands and his head and everything else to himself. I 1000% believe this whole thing is being fueled by one or more of the dems that have thrown their hat in the ring. If Joe announces he's running, he will probably get the nod. If they can keep him from running, it greatly increases their own chance. The question is, which one(s) is/are behind it.

I think Joe is just clueless about a lot of things and personal space is one of them. I'm inclined to believe that you're right. Joe Biden has behaved this way for a very long time and people still like him. Biden's behavior did not keep Democrats from voting for him time and again. Stating these simple facts even as DEMOCRATS are making it headline news is inflammatory language. It's really all about Donald Trump!

Stating these simple facts even as DEMOCRATS are making it headline news is inflammatory language. It's really all about Donald Trump! Congratulations!!!! You've become the biggest hypocrite on the board! Whoo Hoo!!!!
let me fix this for you...
Donald Trump has behaved this way for a very long time and people still like him. Trump's behavior did not keep Republicans from voting/supporting for him time and again. Stating these simple facts even as REPUBLICANS are STILL IN headline news is inflammatory language. It's really all about Donald Trump! Joe has crossed boundaries for some women. He has acknowledged that. He might be clueless, and that is something he is going to have to deal with. It is NEVER okay to cross boundaries. So, here in lies the issue that you are so god damned condescending towards Democrats about. You're a hypocrite. Democrats (Biden, Franken, HRC...and even Democratic women on the receiving end of the abuse) have been held to a standard that the republicans and conservatives REFUSE to hold their own to. Every single one of them. You continue to support and bless the biggest asshole on the planet when it comes to this same damn thing. trump CONTINUES to hire men who have been on the giving end of sexual assault, wife beatings, cheatings, rapists, sexual aggressors, and labels them as "fine men, great men" and ALL THE WOMEN ARE LABELED AS LIARS right from the get go.
The headlines are that the republican conservatives leave absolutely no room to speak on the subject since they condone it to the very top. It is sickening.
You continue with your passive aggressive, think-you're-coy little digs at Democrats as if you hold the moral high ground, and you all cannot even hold your own accountable. Now that is the travesty here. It's people like yourself who do the most damage here.
I think that Stacey Abram's has summed it all up quite nicely---
“I think the vice president has acknowledged the discomfort he's caused. He has created context for why that is his behavior and he has confirmed that he will do something different going forward. I think that's what we should be looking for," she continued. "We have to as a people have to be ready to forgive. But forgiveness does not mean you accept it unless what you see is accountability."
What she is stating here is something that you are likely NEVER EVER going to see a republican/conservative do.

ABC News...
”“By the way, he gave me permission to touch him.”
Joe Biden twice jokes about having permission to hug or touch people during remarks at IBEW conference: abcn.ws/2Ul2j5K”
He still doesn’t “get it”.
MSNBC...
”Former VP Biden invites children on stage during his speech at a construction conference, puts his arm around a boy, and makes light of recent news related to his physical interactions with people: "By the way, he gave me permission to touch him."

That title speaks volumes.

Oh cut the guy a break. He's humiliated and hurt. And said he'd change. And apologized.
I find the best way to deal with is through some good humor and move on. Apparently he does too. I like that good humor thing. Serves a lot of us well. And grace. Forgiveness.

You see it differently and that is your choice. I don’t dislike Biden, but if he had run in 2016, I would have still supported Hillary because of the dumb crap like this that Biden has a history of doing. Check out the history why he never got very far when he ran for president the last three times.

This has elevated Biden in my opinion (and I dont like being touched that much) I suspect anyone who is still up in arms about this was never going to support Biden in the first place and this just serves as another stepping stone for their preferred candidate.

Wrong. I will support the democratic nominee to the Nth degree. And directed to Yvonne: I’m sick and tired of others telling me how I should feel about something/someone.

I'm so confused by his apologies/non-apologies. thehill.com/homenews/administration/437582-biden-im-not-sorry-for-anything-that-i-have-ever-done"I’m sorry I didn’t understand more," Biden told reporters following a speech to a gathering of union workers. "I’m not sorry for any of my intentions. I’m not sorry for anything that I have ever done. I have never been disrespectful intentionally to a man or a woman. So that’s not the reputation I’ve had since I was in high school, for God’s sakes."
Biden later appeared to address the jokes, telling reporters that he did not intend to "make light of anyone's discomfort."
“It was not my intent to make light of anyone’s discomfort," Biden said after the speech. "I realize my responsibility is to not invade the space of anyone who is uncomfortable.”
Why not just say, "I'm sorry my actions made them feel uncomfortable; although not my intention, I sincerely regret making anyone feel uncomfortable" and end it at that.

Why not just say, "I'm sorry my actions made them feel uncomfortable; although not my intention, I sincerely regret making anyone feel uncomfortable" and end it at that. That's the million dollar question. It's not like offering an actual apology would open him up to litigation because it wouldn't, still...he's just politicking his way through this probably hoping it'll just go away but it's not. Oh cut the guy a break. He's humiliated and hurt. And said he'd change. And apologized. I find the best way to deal with is through some good humor and move on. Apparently he does too. I like that good humor thing. Serves a lot of us well. And grace. Forgiveness. The non-apology apology doesn't count and honestly, humor in this situation is equally inappropriate because it makes light of these women. He doesn't get it. Still.
CNN: "Joe Biden just made things much worse"This is why, btw, no one is cutting him any breaks.

He’s being careful but he’s trying to keep it light. Why anyone would want want to go into politics and have this level of scrutiny is beyond me.
