When it comes to 50/50 guesses I’m always on the wrong side so it’s probably a girl and I’m thinking the name will be slightly outside of the super traditional names.

You beat me to it pjaye - I thought about doing this yesterday but didn't get around to it Girl April 28th 3.10pm Grace Doria Victoria I'm tempted to go with a name that has an American feel to it...I wonder how those discussions are going...tradition versus new royal blood

I'm not going to even try as I know it will be wrong My thought is that it won't be one of the very traditional Royal used names of the past. Not for the first name anyhow, maybe for the middle and possibly third name. Prince Harry is now so far removed from the order of ascension that they can use non traditionally royal names if they wish to without too much consideration except for liking the name. Princess Anne did for hers at the time and in turn Zara and Peter Phillips has done the same for their children.

He is, but they're still pretty 'front and centre' of the Royal 'scene' so I'm not sure but when you take into account Meghan's different background I guess I wouldn't be surprised if the name was somewhat unusual for a Royal.

April 26 (Anzac baby, which would be cool seeing they were on their Aus/NZ tour when her pregnancy was announced) 10:26am Girl Mary Elizabeth Grace pjaye I just had a look at the Sportsbet site and Diana is the favourite, paying $4. There are a few roughies in there: Hodgey is paying $34 (was that a Hawthorn supporter?), Shane is paying $71, Kylie $121, Donald $301 and finally Muhammad is paying $501! Speaking of Kylie and Shane......

Spencer as a girl’s name? In the UK that’s a boy’s name It's been quite popular for several years now to give girl's a traditional boy's name here. Not a trend I'm fond of due to having spent 60+ years with a boy's name myself. He is, but they're still pretty 'front and centre' of the Royal 'scene' so I'm not sure but when you take into account Meghan's different background I guess I wouldn't be surprised if the name was somewhat unusual for a Royal. Meghan's name (Rachel Meghan) is a pretty standard name over here for her age group, so I'm not expecting her to go too far off center with a name choice.

Rachel and Meghan are pretty common here too, I was really just musing whether her personality is not to conform too much. We’ll see I guess!! 😀

I was saddled with an almost-boy's name myself.
