The Today show reported he continually violated the terms of his agreement with the embassy and Ecuadoran government. He even allegedly hacked the personal email of Ecuador's president!

Sounds like a classic "Biting the hand that feeds you."
Apparently, the Ecuadorean government took away his asylum status after he treated their embassy like crap and hacked the president. What a jerk! All he had to do was behave and be polite, and he couldn't even.

He was described as ‘discourteous’ which is a diplomatic way of saying he was an asshole.

Theresa May's official statement in the commons this afternoon
I am sure that the whole house will welcome the news this morning that the Metropolitan Police have arrested Julian Assange – arrested for breach of bail after nearly seven years in the Ecuadorian embassy. He has also been arrested in relation to an extradition request from the United States’ authorities. This is now a legal matter before the courts. The home secretary will make a statement on this later, but I would like to thank the Metropolitan Police for carrying out their duties with great professionalism and to welcome the cooperation of the Ecuadorian government in bringing this matter to a resolution. This goes to show that, in the United Kingdom, no one is above the law.
Just to be clear he's been arrested on two counts. One for the arrest warrant that has been in place when he originally fled inside the embassy and a second one on behalf of the US for his extradition.
There are inaccurate info flying about social media that his arrest isn't legal, suggesting that the police went inside the embassy when they had no right to do so.That is wrong. They entered with permission from and at the invitation of the Ecuadorian Ambassador because they had officially removed his right to asylum.

Pamela Anderson is tweeting her support of Assange. She was a regular visitor of his. One of the new blurbs said that Ecuador is saying that Assange was attempting to access the security camera's and their files. I wonder what was caught on video. Jennifer

I think embassy was tired of having him there. He looks so different in that photo. I was hoping he would release Trump's tax returns. I wonder if he's Pam's sugar daddy? I get the impression she's run through her money and keeps hooking up with men to finance her lifestyle.

He's already appeared at a magistrate court earlier this afternoon ( we don't waste time over here ) and formally charged with skipping bail 7 years ago. He was remanded in custody until he appears at a Crown court( a higher level court to a M court) for sentencing at the beginning of May. If Sweden re opens the rape charge he could end up with a further two extradition court appearances as and when. If both cases (Sweden and the US) are requested and are lawful.

She has spoken: 3 hr 19 min ago Pamela Anderson: Assange "looks very bad"From Dominique Robertson in Washington The actress Pamela Anderson, who visited Assange several times in the Ecuadorian embassy during his time there, said she was “in shock” over his arrest and ripped into the UK for their morning raid on the embassy. “I am in shock.. I couldn’t hear clearly what he said? He looks very bad. How could you Equador (sic) ? (Because he exposed you). How could you UK. ?" Anderson tweeted Thursday, before accusing Britain of arresting Assange to distract from the country's never-ending Brexit debacle. www.cnn.com/uk/live-news/julian-assange-arrest-dle-gbr-intl/h_486a6909cc93a0330eed9ce5fb1e4509**** 1 hr 27 min ago Ecuador says Assange put feces on embassy walls** Romo also reiterated President Lenin Moreno's remarks that Assange was consistently violating embassy residency rules, and specifically called out how he would put feces on the walls. "For several years now, one of the key members of the WikiLeaks organization and a person close to Assange has lived in Ecuador," Romo said at a press conference Thursday. This member "works closely and has traveled with Ricardo Patiño to Peru, Spain and Russia." Patiño was chancellor during the government of former president of Correa, who was in power when Assange was granted asylum. CNN has reached out to Chancellor Patiño. Previously Patiño defended the innocence of Assange saying his fight was a "fight for freedom of expression." ** "We are not going to allow Ecuador to become a hacking center and we cannot allow illegal activities to take place in the country in order to harm citizens or other governments," Rome said. The authorities did not clarify whether these people have been detained or only identified. The interior minister said that "in the next few hours" the government of Ecuador will provide additional evidence that justifies the decision to end Assange’s asylum. During former President Correa's government and while Patiño was chancellor, "they tolerated things like Assange putting feces on the embassy walls and other behaviors far from the minimum respect that a guest can have," said Romo. www.cnn.com/uk/live-news/julian-assange-arrest-dle-gbr-intl/h_44c547fc819d7e94b7bfc02bb91949c9

He don't get a pass on breaking the law because we're too busy with Brexit. The Police or the courts do not stop processing criminals Pamela darling! They just get on with the job their paid to do and in this case bring a criminal to justice. It wasn't a raid either they went there by invitation!

7 years inside could be a big problem! Too bad he won't get much jail unless Sweden follows up on the rape charges.
