...would you please post here if you remember to? I'm in love w/my little dude and I'd like a backup for when it breaks. It is my most used craft item and I'm not ready to craft w/o one. I have this one. Got it on a Joann's doorbuster many years ago. But would take any version as a replacement as long as it's under $40. TY!!

Cricut.com has the rose and blue colored Cuttlebugs for $59.99 plus shipping. Maybe other members that post on here can provide some input about Cricut.com. I ordered from them once and did not have any problems. Another person told me they ordered something from Cricut.com and it took them forever to receive their order. It seems that the new Cuttlebugs and the Cuttlebug brand replacement plates are starting to get more challenging to find now.

I gave mine to my DIL several years ago (I switched to a Big Shot), but I doubt she’s ever done anything with it. I could ask her if she wants to unload it. They’re on a cruise right now, but I’ll ask her next week. Please remind me if I forget.
ETA and if I were you, I’d be stocking up now on replacement plates. My old QuicKutz Revolution is actually my go-to for smaller die cutting jobs, and I have a lifetime supply of the cutting plates for it put away. In addition to my backup Revolution. LOL

HSN maybe? I know they were selling them and had an Anna Griffin version.

I ended up buying a backup through Michaels online. I couldn't find it in stock anywhere else. And I wanted the mint green color. It looks like they still have blue in stock: www.michaels.com/cricut-cuttlebug-machine-v3-blue/D040387S.html#q=cuttlebug&pmpt=qualifying&sz=24&start=26It pained me to have to pay full price but I didn't want to chance not finding it. There are still plates around at the regular stores tho and can stock up when they go on sale with accessories. I'm still using my old ones for crops (mine is even older than the one you posted!) and just keeping the newer one in studio. It is smoother and more quiet.

@zingermack, so sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner. I did remember to ask my DIL but then I forgot to let you know. Anyway, she claims to have plans to use the Cuttlebug and wasn’t interested in giving it up. So I apologize, no Cuttlebug for you!

I have a Cuttlebug and a Vagabond. I take the Cuttlebug to scrapping events, oddly the Vagabond stays home.

I now have a Cuttlebug to sell. I just bought a Sizzix Plus at the EXPO.
