This has been a headache: I tried and broke my previous one and I am terrified of trying to unscrew it again and break my second one. I kept the floral frame on one and would like to use one without. I purchased the new Saturday Afternoon rotary stamp by the brand, but the font is different--more condensed and thicker in weight, I love it, but it's not the exact font. Thanks!

I removed the floral frame on mine and it works perfectly! I don't remember exactly how, as it was a few years ago I did it, but by looking at the pieces I think I just unscrewed the nut on the one end and then was just able to pull the long screw out...

My husband removed that frame for me, too. But he doesn't remember how, of course. He thinks he just pulled it off, but like nicolemann9 said, he probably used a screwdriver. I still use the date stamp.

Thank you, I'll let the Mr. deal with this as I couldn't find anything small enough to take the bolt off. I tried with a screwdriver but it stripped the head on the bolt. Thanks so much!

Ok, I did it! Unscrewing the bolt is the way to go!

Try using needle nose pliers to turn the bolt!
