I bought a couple of these QR code stickers at the Scrapbook Expo ($3) and just added it to a PL layout. I’ve been wanting something like this forever! Seems like it works great! It was really easy to scan, open the app, and link the video. Check it out (and have a laugh at my expense  ) (Photos removed) |

Sounds fun. I wouldn't be able to figure it out either, but I am glad you can add one more element to your pages. BTW I like your page, and the way you attached the scannable code.

I have no idea how this works. I am so inept about technology. You can play the video by opening your phone camera like you’re going to take a picture, then holding it over the QR code. A website link will pop up and you play the video there. |

Very cool! I don't know how to work it, but I have kids who could figure it out for me. And I have a bunch of videos I'd love to include in my books.

You don't need the stickers. Becky Higgins has a tutorial on how to do this yourself. I do them all the time in my albums! You just need to upload your video to youtube (or I guess anywhere that would generate a url) and then copy the address to a qr code generator- then print it out! And you are way braver than me!! lol That would be terrifying!!  ETA: link |

I've done this with free QR code websites. My DD's 3rd grade teacher had QR codes all over the room at open house. DD had fun show off her videos.

If this company's website doesn't last, we could replace the QR codes and link to YouTube or Vimeo. The thing about the stickers is they come in lots of decorative colors, themes and styles - pretty cute and clever. I just cut and slapped mine on, but you could incorporate them into the layout in a more decorative way than I did. |

Oh yes, didn't mean to downplay the app! It looks really neat and I'm sure it could be more convenient (and fun)!
I just wasn't sure if people knew they could do this without the app.
I was so excited when I found out it was possible to do at all!

That's so cool. My DS senior yearbook has QR codes for videos and I remember thinking how fun it would be for scrapbooking.
