Since this thread is about what we *hope* happens, I'm going to allow myself the daydream aspect of the question: I am at the age where I think I've figured out I don't want to have children and thus won't. These scrapbooks will not get handed down nor were they made to be. I'd love it if I were to be survived by someone close to me who really loves and knows me that they'd ceremoniously burn my albums. Maybe even go through the painstaking task of getting rid of all the plastic sleeves to avoid those nasty particles in the air. But yes, I'd hope for some fire burning bright while Fauré's Requiem in the 1893 chamber version, not the orchestra, plays loud and dramatically in the background. Let it all go to ashes and lift that glass to me!
