So he is the only one who tells the truth..... He says NO one disobeys his orders.... 'fake news' and all the others who are wrong! over 9,000+lies.. Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump contended Monday that none of his underlings routinely defy his commands, despite numerous examples contained in Robert Mueller's report showing aides ignoring or refusing his dictates. "Nobody disobeys my orders," Trump said during a walkabout on the South Lawn for the annual Easter egg roll. He was questioned by CNN's Kaitlan Collins about whether he was worried some of his staff were shrugging off his requests, as depicted by Mueller, whose full redacted report was made public last week. The document contained anecdote after anecdote of aides refusing to carry out some of Trump's demands to short-circuit the special counsel's investigation. The trend was so marked the report's authors made note of it in their assessment. ** www.cnn.com/2019/04/22/politics/donald-trump-staff-mueller-report/index.html

But wouldn't that just be to cast a vote in the primary? You can still choose either candidate in the general election. That is how i understood it to be: The vote for Weld would be in the Republican primary. I could cast a vote for any Presidential candidate in the general election after that. And if lots of sane people do that, we increase the risk that an unelectable kook becomes the Democratic nominee. Tulsi Gabbard, anyone? All our candidates are probably better than Trump, but they're not all good candidates. I think we need to stay in our own lane and make sure the most sensible, electable Democratic candidate is on the ballot. There is no statistical way that Trump will be knocked out in the primary, so don't waste your vote there.

It's only going to get worse. People who feel they can get away w/anything will stop at nothing. That is also the problem if the House decides not to impeach. We cannot be responsible what the Senate will do. If there is no impeachment it tells dt and all other who follow that they can do whatever they choose to do. That the Constitution means nothing, there is no rule of law. REally hard for me to say this, but it is true.

THIS is the seat democrats need to win! Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday vowed to be the "Grim Reaper" for progressive policies if Republicans hold on to the Senate in 2020. "If I'm still the majority leader in the Senate think of me as the Grim Reaper. None of that stuff is going to pass," McConnell said while speaking to community leaders in Owensboro, Ky. McConnell noted that if Republicans win back the House or President Trump wins reelection "that takes care of it." But he pledged that even if Republicans lose the White House, he would use his position as majority leader to block progressive proposals like the Green New Deal. "I guarantee you that if I'm the last man standing and I'm still the majority leader, it ain't happening. I can promise you," McConnell added. His comments come as Republicans have seized on proposals like the Green New Deal and "Medicare for All" to paint Democrats as shifting to the left and embracing "socialism" as the next election nears. ** thehill.com/homenews/senate/440041-mcconnell-pledges-to-be-grim-reaper-for-progressive-policies

But wouldn't that just be to cast a vote in the primary? You can still choose either candidate in the general election. Yes, but your vote in the primary is being wasted because Weld has no chance of being nominated by the Republican party. That's my point. If you're a Democrat and you want Trump out, your vote would do more good by voting for a Democrat in the primary who you believe has a very good chance of defeating Trump in the general election. There's a HUGE assumption there that our electoral process is not tainted. Nothing has been looked into since the 2016 election (hacking), and I am convinced that they're still at it, all over social media. Check out Ivanka's instagram pic this weekend--the morons were spewing the same rhetoric, trying to cause division. When anyone hit them with reality and facts, the bots called them "radical left", etc. I don't have too much faith this time around.

I disagree. Just because he has the job doesn’t mean he’s doing the job. True - but more telling is the fact that the members of his party will do everything they can to protect him, much as they did for Reagan. This shows me that despite the talk, the job of president isn't all that important after all - because it's fine to have a moron or a person with Alzheimer's running it, so long as it is YOUR moron of guy with Alzheimer's. Party ----- Country Honestly, you have to look pretty hard or have access to behind the scenes happenings to find concrete signs of Reagan’s dementia. Yet there are public signs that Trump has some form of dementia daily and nobody does a damn thing. You’d think Pence would want the presidency? Do the Republicans really disapprove of Pence that much? Are they all afraid of Putin’s revenge? After dealing with my mother’s dementia for years it’s pretty clear to me that Trump has early dementia. He acts just like her ( well other than being the president ) the way he speaks, his lack of attention span, his grip on reality, his paranoia. Dig up some videos of him talking in the 1990’s, the way he talks is completely different.

Phillip Rucker... ”Trump and his businesses filed a lawsuit today against Rep. Elijah Cummings to block Congress from getting the president’s financial records. Developing story...” So what is he hiding? trump is suing PERSONALLY.. How can he sue 'US' and WE not sue him?? Does this mean depositions for him? ? And his sons? ? technically it should mean a period of discovery for both sides.

Honestly, you have to look pretty hard or have access to behind the scenes happenings to find concrete signs of Reagan’s dementia. The public may not have been aware of what was going on, but the people around the president sure knew. Nancy was running the show, but nobody noticed? The Secret Service didn't know? The members of Congress that he worked with didn't know? They may have done a good job of hiding it from the public, but they knew there was a problem and chose to do nothing about it. Because reasons. Seriously, it's not like Reagan being 25th amendmented would have made a Democrat the president. It's the point of having a VP - so someone can take over if necessary.

Administration going after those overstaying visas. President Trump on Monday directed his administration to find ways to limit the number of foreigners who overstay short-term visas amid a broad push to curb immigration. In a presidential memorandum, Trump ordered the State Department to work with governments of countries with total overstay rates of more than 10 percent in order to reduce the number. ** The memo stops short of making specific changes, but it comes as the administration is reportedly considering new travel restrictions on countries with high overstay rates. The crackdown would primarily affect African nations such as Nigeria, Somalia, Chad, Sudan, Togo, Liberia, Eritrea and Sierra Leone.Under the proposed change, business and tourism visas could be shortened or limited for countries that do not lower the number of their nationals who overstay U.S. visas. The White House said in a statement that the effort is designed to “find effective ways to combat the rampant number of overstays,” which it says “is undermining the rule of law and straining resources that are needed to address the crisis at our southern border.” The announcement shows the Trump administration is seeking to impose tougher rules around legal immigration, in addition to the president’s core focus on stopping illegal crossings at the U.S.-Mexico border. Curbing legal immigration has long been a goal for top White House policy adviser Stephen Miller, who has been frustrated with the pace at which DHS has been drafting new immigration rules and regulations. That frustration among Trump, Miller and others led to the ouster of former Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and other top department officials earlier this month, according to an administration official.** thehill.com/homenews/administration/440105-trump-moves-to-crack-down-on-visa-overstays

Ending the night on a good note: Broke Roger Stone Is Speaking for Money at a Strip Club www.thedailybeast.com/broke-roger-stone-is-speaking-for-money-at-a-strip-club"Roger Stone has two very important speaking gigs in his future: one is in court over his alleged lying and witness tampering during the Mueller investigation. The other is at a Richmond, Virginia strip club, where he’s scheduled to give a paid speech next month, despite opposition from local activists. Stone has fallen on hard financial times since he was arrested on federal charges late last year. President Trump’s long-time political adviser is currently awaiting trial on several counts relating to his alleged communications with WikiLeaks during the 2016 election. After pleading not guilty, he was let out on a $250,000 bond. That and lawyers’ fees have rendered him effectively bankrupt, he says. On top of that, a judge forbade him from from discussing the case in public. But he’s still talking, and still pulling in much-needed money from public appearances like his upcoming meet-and-greet at Paper Moon strip club in Richmond next month. "

Did anyone read this Opinion piece in this morning's New York Times? www.nytimes.com/2019/04/22/opinion/theres-a-bigger-prize-than-impeachment.htmlIt made me feel somewhat hopeful that if Trump isn't impeached, it could actually be better, because between now and the election, he will shoot himself in the foot a few more times, and the Republican party could become more divided. What do you think?

linkPolitifact ... ”A student during #CNNTownHall said that the Green New Deal lacked specifics. The real action will occur in some of the House’s most influential committees, which are expected to focus on portions of the resolution. politifact.com/truth-o-meter/…” See that is the problem. We are suppose to sign on to the Green New Deal without knowing how it’s going to work and what it’s going to cost. From the article “Seven questions about the Green New Deal.. ” How might the ideals in resolution be turned into something more concrete?
The real action, observers say, will occur in some of the House’s most influential committees, which are expected to focus on portions of the resolution that are in their areas of jurisdiction. For instance, Bledsoe said he expects the Energy and Commerce Committee to consider legislation to pursue a zero-carbon electricity generation standard; for the Ways and Means Committee to look at bolstering tax incentives for renewable energy and possibly taking up a carbon tax; for the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee to look at ways to reduce emissions in the transportation sector; for the Natural Resources and Agriculture committees to consider bills to reduce emissions in farming; and for the Appropriations Committee to weigh expanded funding for technological research. Even if these bills pass the House, they would be much less likely to pass muster in the GOP-controlled Senate or with the president. But major legislative efforts often begin with measures passed in one House which are then returned to several years later when the control of Congress and the White House changes.”It seems to me that if there were actual details and costs that the Democrats could run on, maybe we could get enough support/votes to guarantee a triple sweep. Meaning we get the White House, the majority in the Senate and keep the majority in the House so something can actually get done. Just a suggestion.

linkEssence.. “She, The People: Meet Rhiana Gunn-Wright, An Architect Behind The Green New Deal”Well if she one of the “architects” behind the Green New Deal, where are the plans? From the article.. ”Introduced in Congress by freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA), the resolution outlines a 10-year mobilization with five key pillars. They include achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions; creating millions of good, high-wage jobs; investing in U.S. infrastructure and industry; securing clean air and water, climate and community resilience, healthy food, access to nature, and a sustainable environment for all; and promoting justice and equity in vulnerable communities. While the Green New Deal has generated ample buzz, not everyone knows that a Black think tank in Chicago called New Consensus, led by organizer and Morehouse alumnus, Demond Drummer, developed details of the proposal. “ All legislation has to meet certain goals. Our team did a deep dive into the research,” said Gunn-Wright, the policy director of New Consensus. “I also wrote a section of the policy paper.”
Gunn-Wright collaborated with Robert C. Hockett, a Cornell University law professor, to co-author the research paper “The Green New Deal: Mobilizing for a Just, Prosperous, and Sustainable Economy,” which was published in January 2019. ” I could sit down and write my version of the Green New Deal in an afternoon. The trick is coming up with the details needed to accomplish the goals, make it viable and understand the true costs and benefits. Which apparently their “deep dive into the research” didn’t accomplish.

The insecure lit,the man’s Tuesday rant.. ”I will be going to Green Bay, Wisconsin, for a really big Rally on Saturday Evening. Big crowd expected, much to talk about. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” “The Radical Left Democrats, together with their leaders in the Fake News Media, have gone totally insane! I guess that means that the Republican agenda is working. Stay tuned for more!” “In the “old days” if you were President and you had a good economy, you were basically immune from criticism. Remember, “It’s the economy stupid.” Today I have, as President, perhaps the greatest economy in history...and to the Mainstream Media, it means NOTHING. But it will!” “Sorry to say but @foxandfriends is by far the best of the morning political shows on television. It rightfully has BY FAR the highest ratings, not even close. Morning Psycho (Joe), who helped get me elected in 2016 by having me on (free) all the time, has nosedived, too Angry... ”Dumb and Sick. A really bad show with low ratings - and will only get worse. CNN has been a proven and long term ratings and beyond disaster. In fact, it rewarded Chris Cuomo with a now unsuccessful prime time slot, despite his massive failure in the morning. Only on CNN! ”Harley Davidson has struggled with Tariffs with the EU, currently paying 31%. They’ve had to move production overseas to try and offset some of that Tariff that they’ve been hit with which will rise to 66% in June of 2021.” @mariabartiromo So unfair to U.S. We will Reciprocate! ”The best thing ever to happen to Twitter is Donald Trump.” @mariabartiromo So true, but they don’t treat me well as a Republican. Very discriminatory, hard for people to sign on. Constantly taking people off list. Big complaints from many people. Different names-over 100 M..... Ah those “many people” are back.”But should be much higher than that if Twitter wasn’t playing their political games. No wonder Congress wants to get involved - and they should. Must be more, and fairer, companies to get out the WORD!” ”The Wall is being rapidly built! The Economy is GREAT! Our Country is Respected again!” “KEEP AMERICA GREAT!” Really, anyone who thinks this 🤡 should be President are just plain nuts.

MSNBC...
”The White House has told Carl Kline, the fmr. security specialist who approved Jared Kushner’s security clearance, not to comply with a subpoena from the House Oversight Cmte., according to a letter obtained by @nbcnews”
“JUST IN: House Oversight Chairman Cummings: "I intend to consult with House Counsel and Committee Members about scheduling a vote on contempt" for Carl Kline, the former security specialist who approved Kushner’s security clearance. (corrects: Oversight)”
”Spokesperson for House Oversight Cmte. Republicans: "Chairman Cummings rushed to a subpoena in his insatiable quest to sully the White House ... This is a shame."
Apparently the new motto for the Republican when it comes to so many things like security issues is “Do what I say, not what I do.” 📧
