Joe Scraborough...
”Some perspective: Despite a slew of Trumpian lies; evidence of obstructing justice; repeated and improper contacts with Russia; and conduct unbecoming of any president, Donald Trump’s actions have been laid bare before Congress and the American people. Now Congress is the judge.”

WTH. How this country can impeach a president for lying about being fellated by an intern, yet legitimize and support another for a brazen scheme of repeatedly thwarting a federal investigation and welcoming and encouraging foreign intrusion into our election, is already beyond my level of understanding. I suppose the best method for future presidents intent on committing crimes is simply to install your own fixer in the DOJ. The problem is that you all don't really want to hear the answer. You will dismiss anything that doesn't back up your version of how it is. You will dismiss the answer or the person answering you. Or both. Whichever works for you. Translation: You don’t actually have a good answer to that question....

I actually think Mueller SHOULD testify before Congress. And if some bombshell comes from it...sure, go ahead and bring articles of impeachment. If impeachment could happen FAST (not drawn out over years), I MIGHT reconsider.

But based on board history, your definition of good answer means "something that backs up my already formed opinion" so that and reality don't mix.

Quick comment about Sarah Sanders: She claims she got texts and EMAILS from countless FBI agents... WHERE are the emails? Aren't they supposed to be saved? Again where are the emails?
(OOPS............I just realized what I am typing and laughing at it............ where are the emails?)

Let it go? Like the way it was let go when Nixon did it? Or maybe the way Reagan and the Iran-Contra scandal was let go? It's weird to me how Clinton got impeached for a BJ - obviously the Republicans felt it was too important to let go, even though it was a matter that affected none of us. The reason we keep seeing these scandals is because the perpetrators are never punished. We keep seeing one party doing the same thing, over and over. And each time, we are told to let it go "for the good of the country." At what point do we realize that the good of the country means that we have laws to be followed, and those who don't follow them are punished? I keep going back to previous Presidential investigations and assume that this should go the same way, but I believe that Americans have reached the saturation point with Trump news. It's strange to me how they could know (now, even tho NYers have known) how downright evil this douche is,but they all want to "move on" and hope it'll be handled with the 2020 election. This worries me since NOTHING has been done to secure our electoral process from Russian interference. I'm sure that Russia (or his other allies) are already in high gear, working on the next election. I also feel sickened in our whole legal system. I hope that Congress will now pick up the ball from Mueller and continue to question and investigate the wrongdoing of our douche-in-office. To just let this go because our citizens are "sick of hearing about this" would be so very wrong. Most other investigations went on for a much longer period of years, so, how and why are we all going to set this aside, play "nice" and hope that the dems win in 2020? ??

I think he SHOULD be impeached, but waver back and forth if it will actually happen. Republicans seem intent on keeping him. I am in full-throated agreement that he should be impeached, but Dems in the House are being very careful and cautious in the way they’re handling this which, in my opinion, is prudent. A big part of me says we have to do this for the health of the republic, but at the same time I’m also aware that impeachment can exact a heavy price on the House majority (similar to what happened when Repubs impeached Clinton). At this point, I am putting all my confidence in Pelosi and Nadler, and I will back whatever they believe is the right thing to do. I think this is the right play, as well. I can't help but feel right now that not to proceed with impeachment at this point is a dereliction of the duty of Congress. But I have to trust others to know better and maneuver wisely. I'm very uncomfortable with the idea of my party NOT pursuing impeachment because they fear it will hurt the party politically.

I found this line in the report rather interesting! The term tro ll refers to internet users-i n this context, paid operatives-who post inflammatory or otherwise disruptive content on social media or other websites. You think disagreement is trolling, you need to get out of your bubble. Oh I don’t think for one moment that Mueller lives in a bubble.

I'm just scratching my head trying to figure out how anyone could have disagreement with the report. Ten instances of the president trying to get others to impede the investigation? Pretty damning. Twelve things blocked out because of pending criminal actions? How do people dismiss this? Proof that Russians interfered with the election? How can anyone be alright with this? I give you props because there's no way after reading what I read that I would want to be attempting to defend any of this. Maybe there's not proof enough for prosecuting a crime but certainly there is a question of ethics.

But I am wondering if Trump supporters are okay with him still, or if they are unhappy with him.

It's MORE THAN ENOUGH to prosecute the crime of obstruction - but THE DOJ SAYS NO TO INDICTING A SITTING PREZ. That's the reason Mueller kicked it to Congress. Anybody else would have been indicted directly by the prosecutor. Mueller is respecting DOJ policies which say that for a sitting prez, the process goes through the House to the Senate AND THEN IF REMOVED to the courts.

It may be too simple but an innocent man wouldn't have responded by saying "I'm fucked". Why would he say that if he did nothing wrong?
That's been my mindset this entire two+ years. His words and actions are no where near what a innocent person would do? The million dollar question is "What is it that has him constantly on the defense?" Is it his business practices over the years? Is it that there is embarrassing video/audio of him? or something else?
It's the same thing with his income taxes. If you have nothing to hide, then you shouldn't have a problem with releasing them rather than lie and say you can't because of an audit. There IS something he wants to hide, we just haven't found it, yet.
I hope the Democrats take the next two years to be the biggest pain in the ass to him they can.
What's good for goose is good for the gander as the old saying goes.

But it doesn't stop my curiosity about how Trump supporters feel, and if they still feel that Trump is a good choice for president.

From what I'm seeing on cable news, not only are Trump supporters buying into his (& Barr's) lies, but they're already beyond the Mueller report. I've even heard Dems all over the country say that the report wasn't surprising (not 1 person questioned read more than a few pages & said that it's the same thing they expected out of Trump) and that Congress should move past this and focus on the election, because people don't want to hear any more about it. I was happy to hear Mitt Romney speak his mind this afternoon. He said that he was "sickened at the extent and pervasive Ness of dishonesty by the President..." His statement was a bit longer than that, but I'm glad to see a normal statement of outrage.
