When hunting for sketches, I found 10... so hard to pick! But I loved this one especially because it: 1. lets you use lots of pp if you want 2. lets you be embellie heavy or light 3. can be done with circles - but could easily be done with squares or rectangles of background paper (which I may try next) It's from the Hip Kit facebook site. Love the sketch you found, kitbop. It does have a lot of possibilities. Hmmm.... Easter eggs... Love all the cloud papers and diecut son your page: the perfect setup for those photos! |

I’ve never done this before, but here we go.
I challenged myself to use this sketch and use the April Scrap Room kit that I just got. I wasn’t sure how I would use these floral and pastel papers. Once I started playing with the patterns and colors, I realized the light blue reminded me of my grandma—so I’m sure I can find pics that will work.
I feel like it’s missing something so I’m going to look at it again tomorrow and see what I think.

ComplicatedLady, your color palette is lovely and your doily truck cluster is cute. Just lovely. AussieMeg, love the spring/summer colors and the stitching around the circles. Cute page. grammadee, your chocolate bunnies are adorable as is your dgs holding that basket. I also like how you changed the circles to egg shapes and layered eggs up. Too cute.

AussieMeg - lovely lovely, as per usual  love the polka dots in the background, the mixed media, and the dog  grammadee - how clever! I would never have thought of that and it's SUPER effective, giant eggs rather than small embellie eggs.
