This article gives a brief outline of why the cost of college has increased so rapidly. linkThank you for the article. We are doing something of a small scale boycott. I will keep the peas posted on how it goes over the next couple of years. I just want my kids to have economic freedom and not have thousands in student debt.

But we can't afford more law enforcement (and not just fed crim law, but clean water laws, labor laws, etc.). We can't afford more ed money, more health money, etc. But we can afford to give m/billionaires ever more money to suck out of our economy and into 3rd penthouses, 2nd yachts, etc. That we always seem to have money for. While people sink into more and more financial and physical stress w/o help cuz "we can't afford it".

And just a reminder to all, Trump and Mnuchin were contemplating subverting the Constitution by unilaterally giving $100 billion more in tax cuts, once again stunningly and disproportionately to corporations and the very wealthy, by cutting capital gains tax. And while these two were contemplating this, Trump was boasting about giving the middle class a 10% cut, which NEVER came into fruition. It was all hot air. Hot air and faux populism.
