i have always been the go-to person for writing - essays, emails, how to word things diplomatically (which is really quite simple - stay on track, leave emotion out of it, read it from the other person's perspective). gotta admit, essays are getting harder, DD is in university and i proof her stuff but as someone who never *went* to university, i think her work might be beyond me. school project ideas.... how to do a visual representation of macbeth or the great gatsby? how to make a henry hudson period costume? but most people come to me for help with job searching, resume writing, cover letters and interview tips - including what to wear. i was a recruiter for 13 years. (i do use proper grammar and sentence structure, including capitals, when doing professional writing, btw.... :

Dogs, dog rescue, dog training, import export regulations for moving dogs. Korea. Fundamentalists. I’m a good proofreader and editor too. I thought I was good at trivia, but here in Korea all the trivia nights are EU/UK heavy so they have questions on rules for snooker and crap so we only ever come in 2nd or third! Well sense you put it out there - I have a puppy and a 10 year old cat that are not the best of friends. I'm trying to discourage the puppy from annoying the cat but both the loud noise and the spray bottle scare the cat more than the puppy. He's not aggressive - just friendly and the cat is old and grumpy. Any thoughts?

I am known as the valve goddess at work. I have the most knowledge about industrial valves in our district. I have managed the purchasing of tens of thousands of valves from 1/8" to 96" in diameter.
I also am the one who knows where everything is in the house. It used to amaze my kids.
DH is a residential construction expert.

Me: medical stuff(I am not a medical professional, but everyone thinks I know the best doctors and can diagnose.) Neither is true. I'm also the go-to person for personal advice. I like to help. My mother and I both were the go people for advice seekers. We'd be in restaurants and the server would start telling us her problems. For some reason we have an invisible Lucy thing. (.05cent please.)
DH: He's the tech guy and the gardening guy.

Me: Mostly baking. I've been an avid baker since I was a kid. I suppose I could include cooking as well. I love to cook and bake and helping people whenever I can.
My dh: He knows a little but about everything. He knows a lot about anything tech/computer related, home automation, tv/satellite/audio type stuff, carpentry, cars, landscaping, etc. I often wonder what his IQ is. He's not only extremely intelligent, but he has common sense... and he has a very analytical mind that can explain things in very simple terms so that anyone can understand. He's also a dog whisperer.

I’m a genius...not really but my husband thinks I am. I know just enough about a wide array of topics to make him ask “how do you know that?” frequently. My dh calls me the vessel of stupid knowledge. He swears that I know a little something about everything. Lol This is totally me. My husband tried telling me some facts about bees last night and he had to stop and say, you know this already, don't you? I said yes, and actually that second one is a little incorrect lol. My friend calls me a walking encyclopedia 😂 But being more specific, I am the crafty one everyone comes to. Or anything home-ec in nature like baking, cooking, sewing, decorating, etc.

I’m the “go to” for anything about Disneyland Resort. I had an annual pass for about 12 years and went at least twice a month for all those years.
