What a beautiful cake for a very remarkable woman. The epitome of the dedication and service she has given to this country and the Commonwealth.
Happy Birthday your Majesty.

What a beautiful cake, and I just love her. I will never forget the first time I saw her in person and then several times after that. Praying she has many more birthday cakes ahead of her! Happy Birthday Your Majesty!

Happy Birthday Queen Elizabeth!
My aunt who will be 93 at the end of the month is spending Easter with us. She lives alone and works in her garden 3-4 hours a day. The ladies from that generation are tough!

I saw some pictures of the royals attending Easter services today, and her majesty looked lovely and very happy to have her family with her for her special day.

Happy Birthday Your Majesty! Would tell about the experiences? I would love to hear how you saw her! I lived in England for 3 years in the 1970s. I was there for her Jubilee. Still have lots of memorabilia. Anyway, whenever family would come from the U.S. to visit, we would take them to London and Buckingham Palace. We lived 75 miles away. The times I would see her was when she would drive into/out of the palace. The most memorable time was when my aunt came. I had just gotten my first camera. I was SO excited that I might see the queen again and actually get a photo with my new camera. Think 1970s camera. Anyway, we were right up front, the queen was expected at any moment, and here she came. My aunt was in front of me because she had of course never seen her. Anyway, I snap the photo as the queen goes by, get the film developed, and in the photo I see my aunt's hand waving, and the Queen's knee!!!! My aunt's hand was completely covering the Queen's face. I was so, so upset. I don't even know where the picture is now. Sad about that too. So, while I haven't seen her in any other setting, it is still awesome. And having lived in England, it really had an impact on me. We lived in a thatched roof cottage called Rose Cottage. I still keep in contact with my friends I grew up with there. They still live near our cottage so I get updates on it. The family that owns it now added on to the house, and our friends say it is not the same. So sad. It has been my favorite home I have ever lived in with milk delivered every few days in milk bottles with cream on the top, etc. Truly magical moments I treasure!
