How was it? There are a lot of recipes on Pinterest, but I do not want to make one if it is gross. Has anyone ever had success with these?

I have had so so results. Mine wasn’t as pretty as a baked one and wasn’t as tasty as my favorite oven recipe. I would test it out before taking it somewhere to be safe.

Same as the previous pea, I had better luck with the oven ones.

The eggs never set up properly for me. It's a gross mess.

I've done a Crock-Pot one and an oven one. Both had an odd texture and were not good.

Could anyone share a good oven breakfast recipe?
Saturday my dd's school is hosting a swim meet and I thought of taking crock pot chocolate and crock pot egg recipe. I'm glad I saw this post before I made definite plans.

I think I’ll stick to the oven recipe. In the end, I think the crockpot one will be just as much work without as good of results. Thanks for confirming my suspicions!

My favorite oven breakfast casserole recipe is super simple! I just call it "egg bake" and it consists of the following: - 12-15 eggs
- 1 package shredded cheese - any flavor (2 cup size)
- diced potato mix (my favorite is the bag of frozen roasted potato w/ onions & peppers from Trader Joes. Another option is to use a seasoned variety of Simply Potatoes found near the eggs at the regular grocery store)
- 1-2 cups pre-cooked meat (sausage or bacon crumbles/cubed ham/shredded chicken/etc). If you want to also use veggies, I would decrease the meat to 1 cup and add 1 cup diced veggies.
1. Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 9x13 pan (I use butter). 2. Stir the raw eggs together with a little half n half or milk. I typically start with 12 eggs, and increase to 15 if it needs a bit more liquid to get things coated (see step 4). 3. Add potatoes, cheese and any veggies/meat to greased pan. 4. Pour egg mixture over top and stir everything a bit to get the egg coating on everything. 5. Cook for 45-60 minutes. Once I start to smell it cooking, I check on it and continue cooking until it's a nice golden brown color on top.
