Hello there. I just stumbled across this clothing line last week watched a few shows. I didn't buy anything because of various reasons. What's your thoughts and experiences with this company? The clothes are pricy and a lot of strange patterns and color combinations. Some are pretty though.

Do a search over on the NSBR board. Bad MLM company. Lots of complaints. Lots of consultants lost big money.
ETA: seems like I remember something about shady business practices from the higher-ups and in-fighting among the family involved in leadership of the company.

Shady AF.
Google them and tons of articles will come up about their practices and lack of quality control

Run away! Check Amazon for knock offs. Same (cheap) quality at a reasonable price.

Walmart has the exact same leggings with better prints and IMO better quality for $6. I bought a lot of lula in its heyday from a pea seller because she was so good to me. I won several pieces for free and helped a small business owner and got some self esteem from the pieces I bought. So I have no regrets. But the company has destroyed so many lives with their nasty business practices as well as broken laws. So lula no for me.

Yeah, check NSBR. I believe they are being sued by those who worked under them.
A friend lost about $7000...

I'd run away as fast as you can. Not only is the company shady as F*ck. Their product is crap and will tear and be see through after one washing.

RED ALERT, RED ALERT! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
Just don't. They're MLM scum that prey upon people's social capital to make the higher-ups money, and leave their 'entrepreneurs' worse off than when they started. Most MLM's are just shady as all heck, this one doesn't even have a decent product behind it. Run away, don't look back.

Haha, good one! I considered adding 'shields up, set phasers to full power', but nah, that's probably a little too nerdy. Seriously though, stay away from Lularoe. The products are terrible, the business predatory to the extreme, everything about it stinks. You may enjoy The Dream, a podcast about MLM's history and modus operandi.

Please continue to not buy anything. Shady AF. Lawsuits by the dozens...stolen art, defective products, illegal sales tax collection, workplace sexual harassment, labor law violations, racism in workplace, defaulting on more than $60,000,000 (yes that is 60 million dollars!) owed to supplier, WA State Attorney General suing them for fraud, etc.

jstblondie - thank your lucky stars you missed the hay day of this clothing line. What started out as something has been reduced to shoddy, overpriced, horrid patterned clothes that no one with a shred of fashion sense would wear unless they already invested in a closet full of it. Yes, 3-4 years ago you could join 50 facebook groups to try to score a pair of reindeer print leggings but mercifully that ship has sailed, and hopefully sunk to the bottom of the deep blue sea with all of its shoddy merchandise aboard.

I've been happy with Viv leggings from Amazon. You do have to wash them on cold and hang dry. Mine have held up well for over two years. I wore them quite a bit for about three months because of having back surgery and wearing a brace.
The number one thing that stopped me from buying from Lularoe was I HATE shopping and they way they handle inventory. I am not going to wait for a pop up sale to hopefully find the item I want. Plus, I'm more of a solid color legging person. I don't want the "unicorn" pieces.

Why would anyone want to sell or buy clothing where you can’t specify the style & size?
This company was always a huge WTF to me.
If I want reindeer leggings in my size I want reindeer legging in MY size. Not 4 sizes too small or 2 sizes too big. Not elves, with reindeer head bands & certainly not some unholy pattern that defies description. I’m more likely to go find another legging company that has what I actually want then try to sort thru post after oust hoping to find it.
One of the most freaking bizarre business plans I’ve ever seen

Why would anyone want to sell or buy clothing where you can’t specify the style & size? I can only imagine it was leveraging the same phycological trick as loot boxes / blind bags - the 'what will I get' feeling each time you shop. There's something to be said for the thrill of the hunt. Humans are more easily conditioned with intermittent rewards.

Critical thinking has disappeared - replaced by instagram posts and FOMO

Google “bad LuLaRoe prints” and you will be horrified! My favorite is the poorly placed hotdogs that look like two penises coming out of her hoo-ha. Not to mention... who buys leggings with giant hot dogs all over them? Yuck.
