.... done in the last two years other than talk about Trump and the Russian collusion? What have they done for the American people? They’ve done plenty to help and encourage non-Americans to cross the border illegally. They have fought for the legalization of killing a full-term newborn after birth. They have encouraged people to stand up against the conservatives and harass them.
What have they done for the people of the United States other than spending $40 Million to get back at Trump for winning the election?
Please keep your comments focused on the Democrats and what they have done for our country. Please don’t post about what Trump has or has not done. The question is what have the Democrats achieved in the last two years.

What can they do when Mitch McConnell continually blocks everything? Serious question.

(2) Democrats are trying to legalize killing newborn babies (seriously, where the heck do you get your news?). (3) guilty as charged as far as standing up against conservatives. That’s fully legal in this country. So far. “Harass them”? That happens on both sides of the aisle. (4) about that $40 million investigation? They took in at least that much money in fines and back taxes due to the criminal activity they uncovered. So it didn’t really cost you anything. Not like Trump’s golf trips that enrich his own coffers at the expense of the American taxpayer.

In addition to the legislative record lizacreates posted, I'd say that they've continued to represent the interests of the American people in shining a light on the lies, corruption and incompetence of the current administration, as well as the corruption of our electoral process by outside forces. To that end, Democrats have passed H.R. 1 through the House to try to protect the integrity of our vote. McConnell will likely not allow it to come up for a vote in the Senate. I can't imagine why, except that I guess they like the status quo - big corporate money influencing our elections, millions disenfranchised, corrupt grifter in the Oval Office.

What can they do when Mitch McConnell continually blocks everything? Serious question. The question is what have the Democrats done over the last two years. And the answer is that in addition to the bills that did pass (mentioned above by another poster), they tried to do a lot but being in the minority, with McConnell at the helm, meant that most were blocked. It's impossible to answer your question without mentioning McConnell since he has said, in public and on tape, that his goal was/is to block anything that President Obama and the Democrats wanted.

Why would you ask what the Democrats have done over the past two years when, for the vast majority of that time, the Republicans have controlled the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the Presidency?

They have fought for the legalization of killing a full-term newborn after birth. WTAF?!!? Seriously you need to focus on the truth and not shockingly made up propaganda.
I would say I can't believe people can be so ignorant and foolish to believe such lies ... but I've seen so many f*cked up right wing crap on here it isn't such a surprise.
ETA now seen the added reference. Which does NOT refer to a full-term newborn.
Also, why the question about what the Dems have done over the last two years? I thought the Republicans were in charge, or is that faux news?

However, it doesn’t say that Democrats want to legalize killing babies. That is the right-wing spin.

That whole bill was a political football. Right from the article: It's already a crime to kill a newborn and will remain so. That's not what this bill was about.

To quote perhaps my favorite response from the Town Halls last night.... “I’m not a master fisherman, but I know bait when I see it. And I’m not going to take it.”
My gut tells me you will not change her mind, so why waste the energy 🤷🏻♀️

115th Congress – Dems wrote and passed 127 bills enacted into law despite Republican majority in both chambers. You really should just use the trackers. That way you don’t have to ask. It's a nice number but how many of them were ceremonial (award medals, designate special days, authorize commemorative coins or otherwise memorialize historic events). Ceremonial would also include renaming a building or a post office after someone like John McCain.

Debbie-f bourguignon? To be honest, doesn't sound like the most tender or juicy meat despite being very fresh at the market stall. Back to brainstorming a newborn roast dinner. Where's my copy of Cooking With the Cordon Bleu Dems again?
