I've finally reached the point where I need to do something with the pile of alpha stickers and thickers that no longer fit in my storage drawer. My current storage is no longer working because I have so many that it's become difficult to find what I want without making a huge mess. I know the logical thing would be to either purge them or use them up, but I like all the ones I have and clearly I am buying them faster than I can use them.
Where do you store your alphas? Are they all in the same place irrespective of size? Is your current system working, and if so, what makes it a great fit for you?

This is how I store my letter stickers. They are bins from IKEA that fit two rows of Thickers upright. I have a cardboard divider that I cut from some scrap cardboard to keep the rows separate. The bin on the left are all my non-Thickers letter stickers. 6x12 sheets are kept upright facing forward. The smaller ones are sideways. The middle and right bins hold rows of colored, metallic, white, and black Thickers. It’s been so much easier since I switched to this way. I can stand up, flip through, grab a bin if necessary, and get what I need.

I have a similar basket. I sort by color. All the tiny alpha stickers are in the front though.

I store them in an Iris 12x12 case unless they have a specific theme, then they get stored in that category. Like the candy corn alpha stickers are with Halloween embellishments. I also have mini alpha stamps in there too.
I don't have that many to sort by color.

They fit perfectly in my Kallax using an iCube. I have them in two rows and the tops stick up far enough to see them. I also have a bunch in a long basket that are arranged by color.

mine are tossed in an open plastic tub...I really should go through and evaluate if some of them are ready to be tossed...

Mine are stored upright by color in some mini milk crates that I got at Walmart at Back to School time. They are aqua and match my room. They are stored in 6x12 bags that I got on Amazon, then in the crates. The alphas are first, then I sort by the words Thickers, but still by color. I then just have 6x12 sticker sheets by the manufacturer in one milk crate. My mini alphas are stored in the last crate.

I have a wire basket from the Target $1 section. It was $3. I have all of my alphas in there. The only exception is alphas that are on a 12x12. Those are kept in the Iris container that has the paper to match. Ex would be 12x12 alpha Christmas in Christmas/winter Iris, photoplay Girl is in dd's iris container.

My Thickers are sorted by color and hang from a curtain rod attached to the wall. My smaller alphas are sorted by color and size and are stored in a mini milk crate on my rolling cart.

I have two 3 ring binders and store them in page protector pockets. It’s easy to flip through.

Love the idea of binders and binder rings! I might have to look into that. I put mine flat in a plastic box and look through them when I need some. But I also don't use as many as I'd like, so they don't need to be super accessible.

Thickers in their original packaging are stored upright & loosely arranged by color in a large, narrow, rectangular, wire pool/locker basket with handles. All others are sorted by favorite manufacturer or type on the Clip-It-Up base unit.

Mine are in an accordion file, sorted ROY G BIV. When I want alphas, I usually have a color in mind first, rather than style. Most of mine are basic enough fonts that they go with the majority of styles.

I use the multi-purpose bins from the Container Store. I waited for a sale. The large fits thickers either 1 long row deep or 2 short rows sideways. I LOVE these bins! Works for 6x12 and 12 x12 also. Multi-purpose Bins

I love some of these ideas but I have to be careful of open storage. My cats love my craft stuff and will occasionally try to be creative with it. The notebook idea might work though. Right now my alphas are in a clear box.

I use the Iris drawers for my Thickers and similar letters. One drawers is for the smaller letter sheets, such as OA Mini Markets.
I have a bin for all my Felicity Jane alphas. They stand up on their side.

Love this idea and basket...do you store them sideways or upright? Sideways. I've tried various upright storage methods for thickers but find that a lot more come off the backing page that way. I also tend to slit the bottom of my thickers packaging so I can easily slide the sheets in and out.

I store my alphas vertically in a small, shallow, box. I sort them by color. Small size (KP, SS, SC) are together and full size are together (BG, ES, Thickers) just to keep them from flopping over.
It works great for me. I just flip to the color I need and pick a set.
