It's hoarding when you can't close the scraproom door. I like Don's definition, especially since my craft area is a loft. There is no door to close. I have more paper and supplies than I am likely to use in my lifetime, but that is mostly the fault of Tuesday Morning. I cannot resist their 25 sheet packs that allow me to use pretty paper with abandon. I can be as extravagant as I want. And I bought heavily at the sales when the LSS was closing. Hoarding is being unwilling to use it or give it away. By that definition, I am definitely not a hoarder. I moved from Virginia to Texas with my stash, and yes, I brought most of it. I had a pretty good idea that I would never live near any LSS again. The closest one is at least a forty minute drive, and the other two are even farther. The one that is the best is an hour and fifteen minute drive. I have made it there once. It was worth going to, since a friend was with me, which made it a great road trip, but I honestly have no need to buy anything more. I have been reorganizing my paper and card stock, and pulling some of the extra sheets to give to friends, because I am basically out of storage space for paper. I am also trying to be pickier even with the pretty papers that I find at TM. I might need to buy adhesive eventually, maybe in a few years...... 1hr 15min drive is normal for me. I do that for work all the time. That’s only like 75-80 miles. I wish I had multiple LSS within driving distance. LoL But my one store is fantastic so I’m not going to complain.

I would buy it and think you got a good deal. You obviously think you will use it so grab it while you can.

I have enough paper, supplies, and tools to open a store. Is that enough? Too much? I am preparing to attend all 3 days at the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo the end of May. I must keep the "store" stocked, even if I have no customers. My DH refers to my scrap area as "Archiver's".

Well, I went and spent nearly 30 bucks, but I got all the good stuff, foiled papers, etc...basically I got 150 sheets of paper, which would have been almost 300 for 30. I feel pretty good about that.

I stopped by last week and then went again today. $30 total and that was bunches of white cardstock, some of the new collections they had, and a pack of white 6x8 paper. There are packs of 6x8 paper now??? This is awesome!

Just so everybody knows, I am not a hoarder, I am a non-discriminate collector. My door closes just fine. Don's door closes just fine, he just has to lean against it and kick it to close and latch it...

I have a certain amount of space set aside for paper - more space than I honestly need but still limited. When that space is full, I don't shop, no matter how good the deal or how awesome the paper is. When that space is full, I need to scrap not shop. This is how I try to approach all of my buying! When the space is full, no more. I have fairly good defined places to put things in my room, so when the shelf is full, no buying.

The only thing that beats .20/ sheet is .15/sheet! Open stock card stock is a door buster today only and it’s 20 sheets for $3.00. And all the new papers (Paige Evans, Shimelle, Maggie H) rang up at .15 each, too.

I didn't get any Shimelle papers because I couldn't check the price without going through checkout and my husband was already getting impatient with me after we doubled back to get regular 15 cent papers. I hadn't been planning to get any but I asked the checkout girl if you had to buy 20 to get the price (their signage is never clear on that) and she said you could get less. Of course I accidentally got 20 sheets anyway... For 15 cents each I would've gotten one each of all of Shimelle's papers. If they had a price checker on the floor I'd buy a lot more stuff from them, but I can never figure out what's on sale, what's excluded, what I can use a coupon on... gah.

Mine does - which was nice because I checked the price on some clearance cardstock and paper - 11 cents today. I got regular cardstock and some nice new papers for the 15 cents...one rang up at 99 but she fixed it at the register without me even asking

My Joanne’s has a price checker I actually asked when I was checking out because I thought they should, but no, they don't. The girl said I could go to the cutting counter if they weren't busy - as if! lol. It's a pretty crappy store.

OMG the cutting counter at my JA always has a line about 100 people long. We have a price checker, but it doesn't work!

I'm pretty sure since I spent under $5 and it is as "small" as paper, it's no where near hoarding. That was a fun inexpensive shopping trip!
