This LO is for the School Pictures challenge that MDscrapaholic posted - thanks for a great challenge, I have sooooooo many school photos that I want to scrap!
I did this one over the weekend, and I did about 4 different versions of it, and couldn't decide which one to go with. I thought that I would wait until morning and look at it with fresh eyes. I chose this one, but that's not to say that I won't change my mind again after I do more of my school photos! I used the 'In The Springtime' kit by the GingerScraps design team, and elements from the 'Never Ending' template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee and the 'Book of Memories' template by Katie Pertiet.
Interesting part of the journaling - in Year 12 we were actually allowed to smoke at school, as long as we only did it up at the Year 12 block and not in front of the younger kids. Can you imagine that now?!?! That was before the law changed so that you had to be over 18 to buy cigarettes. And yes, I was a smoker back then. The other fun thing was that we didn't have to wear school uniform in Year 12, as you can see by the class photo (about a quarter of the kids were wearing the uniform in the photo). Mind you, I think I wore it most days anyway, it was just easier.

AussieMeg Love it! All the colors go so well together! You were cute! Is that you on the left second row from the back? I too have a lot of school pictures to scrap. Seriously, I need to find some time to scrap them.
Add drum roll please! I've finally finished the big craft room re-organization and purge! It took all of April plus the first few days of May. I posted the before and after photos over on the May organization thread, Before and After Craft Room! There are a few more photos in my Flickr account too. It makes me so happy to finally have this space looking so much more inviting! I still plan to spend a few hours every month going through things in the closet and purging, and going through my Sterlite drawer stacks as well. But now everything has a place and there are still a few spaces that don't have stuff crammed everywhere!

Here are my two pages for today. I am slowly unpacking photos and papers from the last crop bag, and as I go I am scrapping the pages I might have done at the crop if I had happened to pull out this stuff. At this rate, I may not be completely unpacked until JUNE!
I made this with my iNSD kit and really like how it came together. Hardest part was cutting that Paige Evans paper...it's my fave...think I'll buy a couple more sheets so I don't fret so much about using it! And I actually did some mixed media that I *liked* under my photo! Watching all those missy Whiddon videos is finally paying off? (I used my finger tips to smudge, and it worked well)

This is my last creation from iNSD - I have been struggling to get a picture of it, but I am throwing in the towel and posting it anyways...it's not this "warped" looking IRL, altho it IS a little warped from all the mixed media I did (and then covered most of it with the photos, d'oh! It was good too!) I used my iNSD kit again.

Linda, I love your racoon page! So cool that she got photos of the sketchy cats and that you had the perfect papers to scrap those photos! Love how you paired the woodland pp with the plaid and that little cluster at the bottom is really cute!
