Years and years ago, I saw a rubber stamp alphabet that looked like round typewriter keys.
I had to have it!
Bought it.
Forced myself to use it once.
And there it sits in my drawer, taunting me. 😂
So what did you have to have, but never use?

I can't even think what it is called - the heat tool to make pockets in page protectors. I'm too comfy to go to my scrapbook area to dig it out!

Mine would be certain sheets of paper. Sometimes I buy them and in the back of my mind I know I'm not going to use them, but they are just so pretty!
I also still have an old school Cricut. I bought a lot of cartridges for it and there are quite a few I haven't used yet. I do take them to a scrapbook retreat, however, so at least my friends are using some of them.

Minc. Sadly, my silhouette cameo is a close second. I’ve used it twice.

The dumb gelatos. I have watched some videos on how to use them and I just cannot make them work. My card fronts end up looking like a preschooler got their hands on them. But they look so nice all lined up by color! Almost all my Tim Holtz stuff that is a little off beat. I want to use it, I try to use it and then don't use it. I almost bought the washi, the little bones and a few other things when they had his sale at TM and ended up putting them all back as I sternly told myself, "You know you are not going to use this stuff!" Maybe I am just more of a *basic* scrapper. www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Basic(ETA that I learned this term "basic" because I was suggesting to DS that he ask the daughter of a friend of mine out and he said "nahhhh...she's too basic." I had to google it. My goodness!

So many stamps. I love how they look on layouts, and the cards y'all make are so lovely, but I have no patience or talent for it.
Bracing myself.... Is this going to turn into a challenge thread?

ScorPal thing for cards. Bought it. It sat around for a couple of years unopened. Sold it. I just fold the cardstock magically on my own.

Oh and Nuvo drops. I bought a ton of them thinking "what an awesome idea" They weren't. I had to sell them as well.

The thing I remember having to have and using once was a puzzle template. You would cut up your 4 x 6 picture into a puzzle. It maybe had 12 pieces. You had to use a special swivel knife to get it to cut. oooooh, I wanted that thing, but it was hard to find at the time because it was thee thing. I finally got it and used it once. My picture looked like a slasher had gone postal on that picture. Now I look back and just giggle at what I was thinking.
I have many more things, but that one was my favorite.

Not turned into a challenge thread by me! 😀 I'm pretty sure I'm going to put that alpha into the giveaway pile.

So much mess! And the dots are susceptible to denting, like if I pressed my fingernail against it. I don't make dots with them anymore. I do sometimes outline patterns on paper with them. But I won't be buying more.

I had a metal stamp, or maybe it was embossing set (Making Memories Maybe?). It was WAY to complicated and time consuming. I think I tried it once, and never really used it.
Also, stamps. Luckily, I know myself well enough not to buy TOO many. I don’t have a ton. Just a few.

Pretty much everything in my scrapbook room. The latest Scan N Cut (DX) for one. After putting a rush on delivery, I haven't even opened the box. That was 3 - 4 months ago. Why do I do this???

I think I finally threw it out a few years ago. Never used the darn thing, but it was fun doing the swap!

When the Lucky 8 punches came out, I talked justjac into going together on the whole set of 6” ones. I have used one of them. Once. I have two of the 12” ones and have used them a few times, but not often.

I’m in for Gelatos and the Minc. I recently dug my Minc out, but I found the results really unsatisfactory. I’m hoping I can get some usefulness out of it by using it as a high priced laminator. Still not sure what to do about the Gelatos. I have a whole set.

I take forever to make a decision. Most of the items get used that I purchase. The problem with waiting is tracking it down, possibly paying more, or wanting more of that item and I'm lucky to get one!

About 98% of my somewhat extensive stamp collection. I love them and I have a desire to use them, I'm just not very good at including them in any of the projects that I create. I've never really figured out how to incorporate them with my style of scrapping.
