Hi BB friends!!
So, Christie (or however you spell it), I actually liked her at first and then sort of didn’t. The crying is just insane. And then getting mad at Tommy for the Baywatch thing (she and sis both bitched about that),pull yourselves together! Whatever happens to you, Tommy still has a game to play. Chastising your only real ally because he refuses to curl up under a blanket and give up is stupid. In fact, how about taking a note from his book dummies?
I have to say though, once Christie decided to stop being a crybaby and kicked into action, she was pretty masterful and reminded me what I liked about her. Talking to Michi about Nick was smart. Then Nick fell right into it. He was going to be a big Adams and tell off Christie but she COMPLETELY outmaneuvered him. He actually made himself a bigger target than he was. Sis was useless and I say goodbye. I’d much rather see interesting players left and like her or hate her, Christie is more interesting.
And actually, dammit if that Square-jawed Michi isn’t becoming more likable too!
Oh, and I know I’ll be in the minority, but I liked Julie’s hair. I love tousled sexy hair. Never liked the sleek neat hair look. I thought it was fun.
Now let us see some jury house footage.

Good to see you jackie! I always enjoy your well-thought out posts! I'm sure they'll show Sis and Jack reuniting.

So America named Nick the Prankster. Holly nominated Nick and Nick nominated Christie.
This episode had a lot of *fluff*. Nicole, Cliff and Jess making pies and smashing them into other house guest's and each other's faces. Watching Christie eat and other people talking about her eating. Jackson talking about and eating watermelon.
Except for noms, it was a pretty boring episode. I'm looking forward to Zing-bot this week!

I agree - lots of fluff this week. Holly was going to nominate Christie anyway so nothing really changed.
The prankster twist would be better if they got automatic veto power instead. Then he could replace a nomination after the veto comp

I liked seeing the fallout of Taco Tuesday and how Christy was able to get the votes turned.
The watermelon bit was funny but Christie chewing is just gross.

I meant to mention this last week & the watermelon bit reminded me. Did anyone see Jackson eating frozen broccoli right out of the bag? Gross! He really has some questionable eating habits 😁

Did anyone see Jackson eating frozen broccoli right out of the bag? I noticed that too - I was guessing that he steamed them in the microwave first (at least I hope he did and wasn't eating them frozen). I thought he was eating potato chips at first and then realized he was eating broccoli straight out of the bag just like people eat chips - I thought it was odd. I've never seen anyone do that before. I also noticed in his HOH room, all he seemed to have were boxes and boxes of protein bars. The watermelon bit was funny - he does seem a bit obsesses with it.

The prankster twist feels like an epic flop, to me. The stupid crazy voice, the pies, the 'that's it?' element to the prankster nomination. It's just dumb. This whole season feels off, in terms of twists.
BUT- I have been enjoying this season's HG more than previous ones I've watched. (I've only been watching a few years.) I liked Christy at first, but now I can't stand her. And her eating habits are horrifying. I still can't believe she made it through the last vote. If she makes it through another one, they deserve whatever they get for keeping her. I was indifferent about Nick, but now I sort of like him. I kind of wonder if he was voted the prankster because people can see Michie and Holly amassing control again. I could not stand Michie from the beginning and I still can't. Holly hanging all over him all the time makes it hard to take her seriously as a player. Jess- I like her in general, but sometimes she annoys me. I hate that she's always on the outside, though. It seems like everyone has someone, but she has no one. Nicole- I like her but that girl is the very definition of a floater. I was hoping after the awful way the Nick/Bella thing played out with her, it would kick her game into high gear. But instead, she seems to have come through it and settled in to let Cliff take care of her. I still love Tommy. I love him more when he talks about the likelihood of detaching himself from Christie. I worried that he was so nice he wouldn't get to the point where he put himself first. Cliff is still my favorite. I can't believe he made it this far. That in itself, as the resident 'old guy' is a major accomplishment. I think he's funny, and he's honest, even in a game that practically requires you not be honest.

I agree with pretty much everything you said suesThe prankster twist could have been better if he was given veto power. I bet that Nick will go home because they see him as a threat but also see Christie as a threat but a threat they can control a little more. I guess a lot depends on who won veto this week

I have no idea who will be leaving this week-looks like Holly & Jackson still want Nick and usually the rest do what the HOH wants

Jackson’s “face” seemed undecided at times. I’m hoping he talks Holly into voting out Christie. I thought Nick revealing his prankster role was a good last ditch effort to say - I could have put you up but I didn’t.

I think he should have said something before the nomination and made a deal...don't put me up and I won't put Jackson up. Even if he said something before the veto comp - Jackson wouldn't have gone for the win.

I thought Nick revealing his prankster role was a good last ditch effort to say - I could have put you up but I didn’t. I think so too. He could have put up Jackson but he didn't so he kind of proving loyalty to them. Hopefully he will talk them about it at more length and maybe talk his way into staying. I would hate to be in Tommy's shoes - he is loyal to Christie because of their past but at the same time, he likes Nick and it might be better for him in the end if Nick stays - that is a tough spot to be in.

You were sooo right ! Next Thursday 9/5. LOVE double eviction night !!!! That will be interesting. I liked the Nichole/Jackson pie in the face battles. He was pretty good at hiding from her. I would be like Nichole when it came to those clowns in the mirror - I'd be freaking out too. It was funny when the lights when off and she was all alone with them. Haha I liked that they showed a little bit of the Jury House this week. Jack was a little more likeable, maybe he just is better when the pressure is off.

I felt so bad for Nicole when she didn't win HOH - I loved how the others surrounded her and took care of her though - seems like everyone kind of wanted her to win (except for Tommy maybe, who wanted to win).
I don't believe Christie when she says that if it were just her and Jackson left, she would have made sure Tommy was kept off the block too - she would have totally done the same thing that Tommy did.
It looks like it might be Jessica's last week in the house (unless she wins Veto). I feel a little bad for her because she hasn't really made any real alliances in the house, even though she has tried.

Jackson is showing what a complete jackass he is. Holly, don't waste your tears on him.
ETA: This is one of my favorite veto comps! Except that they completely trash the house!

That fight between Holly and Jackson- ugh. I saw the whole thing on the recap feed on Twitter and it was so much worse than what they showed last night. He's controlling and manipulative and just a jerk. I kept waiting for her to stand up and say 'I'm done. You're an idiot. I don't need you.' Of course, she didn't. But when he dismissed her and she stood in front of the door crying... I couldn't believe it when he walked over and opened the door for her to leave. What a jerk.
And the way he trashed the house was really telling too. It wasn't enough to look under the couch- he had to flip the couch and fling it. He even said he was looking forward to wrecking the house. He has issues.

I can't stand him! I thought he got a little better once Jack left, but he's back to being an asshole.
I hope he goes tonight on Double Eviction night!
Holly needs to just move on. I'm not crazy about her either, but I like her better when she's not around him!

Jackson is such a jerk!!! Even during the veto comp - he was throwing things and flipping things where there was NO POSSIBLE way that something could be hidden there (example, dumping the cereal - the object they were hiding was too big to fit into boxes. He was just destroying things because he could and none of them could see it. It was like he was releasing built up tension. Then to act the way he did to Holly. He was all like "Love you mom" but I hope mom was at home going "What is wrong with you son? Acting like that?" He is just an A-1 Jerk. I started liking him a bit more after Jack left but his true colors are showing again. I hope that he is the 2nd person evicted tonight. I just want him to be put in his place.
I saw the whole thing on the recap feed on Twitter I found the link - apparently the fight went on for over 30 minutes so I will have to watch later but posting here in case anyone else wants to view

I'd wonder where the hell we went wrong, raising him to think it's OK. I'd feel the same way about Holly though. It's heartbreaking- but I'd be wondering how I raised a young woman to be this passive, this tolerant of being mistreated.

double eviction night tonight! I really really really hope Michie ends up getting voted out I know Christie bugs everyone but I'm kind of rooting for her I hope he and Holly are both evicted. Hate the way he treats her and talks over her. Hate that Holly allows him to treat her that way -- although she has tried to talk to him about it and he won't LISTEN he turns it around to how he is feeling. Good riddance to both of them. I really don't like anyone in the cast but am rooting for the underdogs: Cliff and Nicole.

I think because they are only allowed in the house to search for small increments of time. Perhaps 2 and 1/2 minutes? And there is a lot of house to search. And Jackson was turning everything over so things got buried. He disgusts me. I would be appalled if I was his mom.

I'd think they'd have at least 5 mins to search. I wonder how long it took them to clean it all up!!
