I saw a card on Instagram where someone had used Gina K glitter gel. I’ve never heard of this product but I really like the look. Has anyone tried it and if so how did you like it?

No, but I just looked it up, it looks really cool. Hoping someone has tried it & can let us know how it works.

I've been tempted by this but haven't bought because it looks like Nuvo glitter paste and I already have a bunch of that! Correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sure I'll be buying the whole lot of it.

Confession - I have the glitter gel in almost all the colors, and a jar of Nuvo glitter paste and haven't used any of it. None, nada, zilch. I am ashamed to admit to this. But the glitter gel looked like so much fun with stencils and I think I had a discount code and. . .
I will make some time tonight to get both of them out and play with them a bit and report back.

i don't know what that is but when you said "glitter gel" i automatically thought "you mean Stickles?" My impression of it from what I've seen in videos, etc. is that it is similar to Stickles, but it comes in a jar instead of a little bottle. I've seen it used with a pallette knife/stencils and Gina K's daughter, Rina, had a video where she painted it on.

I haven't tried it (yet) because I thought it was the same as the Nuvo Glimmer Paste only a different brand.

I tested it out tonight with thenuvo paste and they are not the same, but they are very similar.
The Gina K gel is squishier in the jar, the nuvo has a bit drier texture. With a stencil, the Gina K spreads more easily; the nuvo seems less likely to smoosh under the edges of the stencil. When I just spread some on my cardstock with a palette knife, the Gina K warped the cardstock just a tiny bit, the Nuvo didn't. I mentioned that I had seen a video where the gel was painted on-I can't see how you'd be able to do that with the nuvo paste. I really don't think that they are so different that you'd need both.

Thanks GeForce the review cbet. I like the idea that the gel is a little thinner since I could spread it more easily across a larger area. Well now I want to try them.

I have only used Bo Bunny glitter paste with stencils and love it. Made a few cards with no trouble. I just used a palette knife.
