Yep. Running is the only sport I have ever been good at- forget anything with a ball or requiring coordination. But run? I can run all day. I ran track in middle school, cross country in high school, and I never lost a race. I was scouted by colleges even. I never really loved it though. I loved the high I would get 5 miles in, but I was never really that into running, I just did it because I was good at it.
I stopped in my mid 20s because I didn't get my period but once or twice in oh, ten years or so, and I figured I may want to have kids. I have very low body fat and running anything over about 30 miles a week I don't get my period. Not so good for long term health.
But he'll yes I can outrun zombies, terrorists, random serial killers- you bet. If I have to survive on crappy canned food or we are starving though? I'm the first to go. I already told my family to cook me when I die in the zombie apocalypse, no point in them starving too.

I don't think I could outrun anything. If something is going to get me, kill me quickly.

Yep. It would help if Benedict Cumberbatch was 25 feet in front of me holding a packet of Tim Tams though. I'm all about motivation.

I should be able to for a while. Plus I tend to wear my sneakers most days so that should help me.

Nope. I wouldn't last 5 minutes in a zombie apocolypse.

Yep. Been a runner for almost ten years. I'm not super-duper fast, but I can run very long distances without a problem.

I'm pretty fit, but according to every nightmare I've had where I am paralyzed with fear when I need to flee, I'm a dead woman.

For a little while, although maybe not in October. This year hasn't been so bad (yet) , but typically October is my very worst time for asthma.

My only hope would be that they'd slip in the trail of pee I'd be leaving behind.

I could probably run 30 miles if I had to today. But I'm slow so they'd catch me before I got that far.

I was thinking more along the lines of ISIS, terrorists, etc. You have started jogging again in preparation of ISIS or terrorist attacks? Really? So you're jogging down the road and thinking, "I'm going to push through this run. I'm going to do this because this is really going to help me if there is a terrorist attack." Not because you want to be healthy or strong or better than you were yesterday, but in case of an attack?

I totally could. My bff and I got chased out of a haunted house by a guy with a chainsaw. I don't think I've ever run so fast in my entire life!

I know it's crazy but that's why I am jogging again. I can jog 2.5 miles in 25 minutes. I want to be able to run for an hour. Or at least run 3 miles in under 30 minutes. I would love to do that too. I am much much slower then you though! I can do a mile in 15 minutes. I know that is bad. I always wanted to love running but I don't I hate it and I have to pick and choose days I feel like I can do it without stopping 100 times to use the rest room.
I have no choice but to run on a treadmill because there has to be a bathroom close. lol. That is so terrible but very true.

I think about that when I'm watching cop shows and they're chasing the bad guy. A: I could never be a cop, bad guys would get away every time and B: I could never be a bad guy and outrun a cop. They could catch me while running backwards.

Been chased by a brown bear. Managed to "outrun" it. Completely realize if it really wanted to catch me it would have but I'm pretty sure I was topped out at 100miles an hour. Sure felt like it. Maybe running isn't the best choice but I now know I'm a flight not a fight person. Lol
