My turn. Here is a sketch I pinned awhile ago. I liked it as a way to use up scraps of pp. Sketchy Saturday July 13th by Gramma Dee, on Flickr And here is my page created with the sketch in mind: Mom's turn to play by Gramma Dee, on Flickr The shadow at the top corner was because the paper had rolled up a bit after the mixed media. Sorry. And here is a BONUS. I found this sketch on Pinterest a few days ago and I want to use it in the next week with some photos I printed today (one for my July calendar and one for a scrapbook page). serendipity sun ray sketch by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Have fun with one or both of these sketches!

Thanks grammadee . You're right, that first one would be great for using up scraps. Or in my case, all the different patterned paper I have in my digital stash. There's love in the gallery.

Here is my first take on the bonus sketch. Photographed a little dingy and not too square. The top layer of cs is white, not cream, and doodling goes all the way around the border. July '20 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Here is my second page for the bonus sketch. I cut up a circle I had punched at a crop a few months ago but never used. I have a slice of it left to use on the facing page when I get that done. Hello summer by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

OH, grammadee, both of these takes are just fabulous!! I love your doodle border and that wire maple leaf on the first. I love the hello banner and your scenic landscape with sunrays punched at the top. I thought of sunrays when I initially saw the sketch, but your take on them is so clever. Love both pages.

I had fun with this sketch, thanks grammadee . I started off using the sketch exactly as it was, then I decided to replace the circles with the banner and the cardboard hearts.

Thanks for playing with the sketches, Ladies! Love for you both in the Gallery. AussieMeg, substituting the one photo for title and journaling was the perfect thing to do with the story you were telling. Love the colours and patterns. Chinagirl828, your take on the circles and substituting the banner for the rays is genius! Love love LOVE your colour scheme on this page!

I used your bonus sketch - loved it right away! My only "issue" with sketches is that I rarely have the same photo sizes/orientations they ask for. So I just adapt. layout pokemon go by kirstendrew, on Flickr
