I am happy to see that ours was not hit. I just got my new debit card a few days ago after having to close the other one because Home Depot was hit. I am so sick of this. I noticed that the company DH works for is offering Identity Theft Protection for a good price. Guess I need to check into that a little bit further.

Oh thank goodness I haven't been to DQ lately! We just received our FIFTH new debit card this year. It seems like every time there is a hack, we will have just shopped there. And our credit union just cancels the card & issues a new one.
The last one was home depot. I thought we dodged that one but no, turns out DH bought a bag of screws three months ago. Grrrr!
I think I will be going back to cash as well, what a pain (first world problem, to be sure.)
I deeply dislike hackers...

I never use my debit card anymore for any purchases. I only use it at the bank to withdraw money. I only buy things with my credit card so when store get hacked, I don't have to worry about them getting my actual cash.
