The spirit of Marie Kondo has overtaken my body and I've filled another box for donation. I've got a small bin of supplies to go through tonight and then I'll assemble the set of cards on my table.

Does cleaning and organizing count for doing something crafty? Definitely counts I’m continuing what has turned out to be the never ending task of re-organizing my scrap room. What was once manageable became a lost cause 3 weeks ago when a shelf fell out of the wall spilling books & magazines, knocking over the tv & assorted digital equipment, and 2 small bookshelves underneath spilling all my punches, most of my dies & Embossing Folders all over the floor. ugh! I'm so sorry. This is horrible. I hope you can get it back in shape soon.

Yesterday (Friday) I made two cards! Today I went through my "in process" bin and finished up unfinished card fronts. I stuck little critters down, stamped/embossed sentiments, added the finishing touches and put the cards on bases. And I always match my cards to envelopes, put them in those seal-able sleeves and put a label that indicates if they are "Blank Inside" or whatever the sentiment is. I ended up with 18 cards completed today. I do still have a lot of bits and pieces left in the bin for more, but I'm happy with my production today. I have stuff to do tomorrow, so that's it for me this weekend.

Started and finished school shopping for DD15 and DS17 today, even though DS tried to drag his feet and go tommorow instead. It was over 100* out and the stores where jam packed! I was like nope. Tomorrow is my day buddy! Also got the groceries done so gonna try and sit and have a nice peaceful relaxing scrappy sunday. Cause today was exhausting and I was a bit emotional cause it's the start of DS Senior year. At one point I was waiting outside the dressing rooms for him and thought, this is the last back to school shopping for him!!😭

I was such a Pinterest mom. I kept thinking "these are the last school photos I'll get to take." My favorite photo is of her at the beginning of senior year holding a framed 8x10 of her preschool portrait.

I'm working this weekend so mainly no for me.
I also have a sympathy card to make which is making me procrastinate. It has to be a special one. A deaf friend lost her 23 year old son in a plane crash. I don't want to do it and so I'm not going to my scrap space. If I scrap, I feel guilty because I haven't made a card. But making the card is going to make me cry again...

I am gonna have to definently do that on the 1st day of school. He is gonna love me, he already complains about my picture taking as it is. He better get ready, cause it's about to get ten times worse!! 😂😂

Happy Sunday! I am finally getting some time to craft today. I am working on finishing up some old PL albums that hd some things missing (like the cover page, inserts that needed completing, spine labels printed). I am so happy to get these small things done so I am move the albums to permanent storage and clear off some table space. This coming week is going to be slow for me so I am hoping I can get lots of crafting done.

I was hoping to get some craft time in yesterday, but I ended up reading and then hanging out with dh and some friends in the evening. I’m hoping to finish up my page a day June scrapbook today. I have to do June 23-30, but since we were on vacation the 24th-29th, I have lots of pictures from those days. It shouldn’t take me long—I just need a block of time in my craft room to get it done.

But making the card is going to make me cry again... Oh no, that's really rough... Be assured that whatever you make will be special to your friend when she has time to process it. For now she's probably too numb to notice much beyond getting a card from you, and maybe the kind words inside (or maybe not even that much. She must be in shock. I can't even imagine.) The dread will be worse than the actual doing - that's what I remind myself when I put off something difficult. I dread it, so I put it off, but then I feel awful again tomorrow when I think of doing it, and again the next day, and so on and so on until I finally have to do it, at which point it's horrible but then it's done and there's no more guilt or dread. {{hugs}}

I loved it so much I put it on a wooden slat with letter of their high school underneath.

Up next...editing pictures. ugh. one of the dreaded tasks of traditional scrapping. I remember it well and put it off often.

I don't want to do it and so I'm not going to my scrap space. If I scrap, I feel guilty because I haven't made a card. But making the card is going to make me cry again... I'm so very sorry for your loss and for your friend. I cannot imagine and wouldn't want to. You will feel less guilt when you do get it made though.
No I have a major sinus headache again. I’m beginning to wonder if these are from a medication I take yuk. I'm so sorry. Is there anything offering you relief? Please talk with your doctor.
I was hoping for a bit of time this evening because DH & DS are playing D&D. But they just informed me that I need to finish Umbrella Academy which I can't watch and digi scrap too, so I might watch an episode or two.

Not much for me this weekend but I did do some online shopping. I grabbed all the new Vicki Boutin line because I love her stuff! It's just so versatile! Also picked up a bunch of Shimelle's field trip. At first I wasn't that interested but after looking at the individual papers I found quite a bit that would work for how I scrapbook!

I finished a 12x12 pride layout, and started four 8.5x11 dino museum layouts.
I'm loving using my new goodies!

I ended up doing a front/back 12x12 pocket page yesterday. Then took it apart to rearrange as some of the photos were out of order - which no one but me would ever know - but I knew it would bug me. Got it back together and still mostly working (used the same colors & motifs on both sides).

All I was able to accomplish was organizing a recent photo order and also organizing a recent scrappy purchase! 🙄

I did get some scrapping finished this weekend. I did the remaining pages from our trip to Indianapolis earlier this year. I need to cut out titles and print the journaling to finish them up.

I got a couple of pages done so I’m happy about that. I made my tm insert a while ago, I’d like to try it out. I’ve been doing decent balancing craft time with housework etc last week anyway lol. It was nice to get crafty time in

I went to CKC in Lancaster, PA. My friend and I were able to crop Fri and Sat eve at the Cozy Crop House in Lititz. I had a great time! I got about 16 pages done and put them in albums.
