I hate it! hate it! hate it! LAst year when we moved here we bought all new living room tables. I love the style.... I love the end tables. they are the same style but different sizes. I didn't want a coffee table. I hate the fact that husband talked me into a coffee table. It is big and bulky and takes up half the living room. We have a extra large sectional with 3 recliners. and the coffee table has to be almost 4 feet away from the couch so that the recliners can recline with out our feet hitting the coffee table. and then I(the one in the middle) can't get out when husband or daughter is reclined without having them put their feet rest down or me moving the coffee table. It is a big bulky wood table that is very heavy even to push.
SO now I have to deal with it. when we had our other couch I had moved the coffee table against the wall but now with the new couch I can't do that.
Husband likes coffee table... things it great and doesn't have a problem with it being so big and bulky and in the middle of the room. This winter we will be more home bodies and spend more time in the living room. I am trying to figure something else out with it. need to do something soon it is driving me nuts...
Do the peas have any ideas?

If you have to keep it can you put it on casters to make it easier to move?

Sell it? If he thinks it is so necessary, make him sit in the middle spot. It probably won't take long before he is grumbling about it!

I've found when someone doesn't think my problems are worthy, it works best to make the problems become theirs. Amazing how quickly people change their tune then.
