Just wanted to share if you are new to the word punch board. Got mine at Tuesday Morning and I absolutely love it! I found a couple videos to punch the letters closer together.
1st tutorial starts at approx 3:12. I think this one is easiest so far:
And there is this one that seems like too much work when basically doing the same thing, at approx 6:30

Awesome, thanks for the links! I was worried about that wide spacing. Good to know there’s a way to work around it.

I love the difference in the videos. I watched them both and thought the lady in the second video was explaining Common Core math like it is normally taught. Very thorough and why it works the way it does!
I have this board and love it.
Does anyone have any good small storage for the board, letters, and the numbers?

I hated the spacing and that's why I didn't like the board...now I need it. Thanks <<sarcasm font, lol

FurryP Yup that’s pretty much how it did it. Well I wasn’t so smart as to map it out. ( actually I was too lazy to map it out lol. ) I love my word punch board and I’ve used it quite a bit.

I shared this idea on my Instagram page #azcrafty earlier this month. I didn't like how long the word birthday punched out and in hungarian it was ridiculous (szuletesnapot) it would not fit on my card.
I love my word punch board. I store mine in a Michael's organizer box.

Went and bought it plus the numbers...then a couple odds and ends and then to use my $10 off coupon because a meltdown on the way there sent my brain to mush preventing me from being able to math, grabbed a bunch of candy. Basically paid for the scrappy goodies and got the treats for free. Seems like a waste but I never get to use these coupons because I shop truck days...which are never the coupon days. Not all the treats were for me, either, so I don't feel bad because my kids rarely get anything there, so it made them happy.

I never remember seeing this option of tighter spacing when WRMK first released it, so it got a pass from me. Now, makes me want it too. I just wish the punch didn't stop you from punching the letters farther in on the page. I don't like them right on the edge.

I hated the spacing and that's why I didn't like the board...now I need it. Thanks <<sarcasm font, lol thanks for the videos, FurryP !! the fact that you can punch the letters closer together is the only reason I did buy it, actually... I opened up the package (shhh- don't tell!) in the store, and messed around with it and a scrap piece of paper I had in my purse. And here I thought I was so smart, figuring that out on my own, lol. If you couldn't move the letters closer together, I might not have paid the $$ for the punch board and bought the MS letter punch instead. azcrafty , inquiring minds want to know, what are the pink and gold/brown pieces you have in your organizer box? are there actually MORE punches that go with the punch board besides the numbers and letters?!? (that I will immediately think I *need* to go with it? lol!!)

FurryP - Thanks so much for that first video! I had seen the 2nd, involving the math and that convinced me to get the board, but the first video is much, much easier - just remember that you need to start the 2nd set of letters at position 5. I am going to mark that spot on my board with a bit of acrylic paint to make it stand out more!

The planner punch board is $11.99 at TM...I almost got it and will probably regret not having it at some point, but they have a few different hole options to fit into different types of planners...including the happy planner, I believe.

Yes they are the planner punches. There is 6 different punch style. I will take some pics tonite. I got my set at Hobby Lobby comes with a punch board and all the little punches. $40 and I used the 40%off coupon. You can buy some of the different holes at Michael's.
