Welcome to monthly Sketch/Scraplift challenge! Each month, I will post both a sketch, and a LO for you to lift, or draw inspiration. I'll be including something for both 1 page scrappers, as well as 2 page scrappers, and some of the LO's can be modified to fit either one. I like seeing the creativity of changing them up! I think it will be fun to see what you pick, or if you decide to do both! As you know, in scraplifting/using sketches, your LO's can end up looking exactly like the inspiration piece, or you can let your creativity run wild! These are just jumping off points to get you rolling. I can't wait to see what you come up with! Have fun, and link your LO's back to this thread so that we can all see your piece of art and give you some lovin'! grammadee

Love them BOTH! I always need a little extra help when layering, and this single page sketch is perfect. And I think I will be ALL OVER the lift when I have a chance to get back into scrapping again. Thanks, KikiPea.

Thanks! Big help for getting these done with some nice embellishments which I tend to be stingy on when I don't have some help.

Here is my two page lift. Not much like the original, but I tried to channel the collage on the one side and then the larger separated photo piece on the left. My photos didn't quite fit the way I had thought they would in my head (where my canvas has infinite space and photos just morph into the needed shape). I really like my pages, though. Thanks for the inspiration KikiPea! How to spend your summer by Gramma Dee, on Flickr @elaynef, your page is beautiful. I really want to come back to that sketch. Layering is a hurdle for me: love the look, but am never sure how to achieve it.

THANK YOU for the perfect Sketch to go with these photos of my daughter and her "meow, meow" I used the one page sketch and motified it for my 2 photos.

Here is my take on the single page. Loved the inspiration to layer and not have to line up a frame perfectly Go Play Outside 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr
