Well......... I just got home and i got the following: Wild Heart 6x8 pad Stickers 12x12 chipboard pk of ephemera and DCVW - Starlight pad because I just LOVE the papers! I don't normally buy DCWV paper pads, but I just had to have this one. Both pads above are so out of my comfort zone, but I didn't care. The Starlight even has purple! Also saw some Prima stamps, paper, ephemera, flowers, stickers and chipboard. I did not buy any of that.

I went by mine this afternoon. All I got was a set of cheapie alcohol markers to play with. One thing really irritated me. There was a woman in the craft aisle who was going through the items on racks—stamps, embellishments, etc. She was obviously in a big hurry. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone shop that quickly. She’d grab the whole group of stuff, look through it picking out what she wanted, then put a few things back and drop the rest on bottom shelf. By the time she was finished the aisle was a mess. I know things are randomly put on the racks but it just rubbed me the wrong way.

They don't staff the stores so that people can just go back through all of the aisles every day and put everything back. Yes, the stores do pack too much on a peg, but that doesn't give you the right to create a huge mess for everyone behind you. Rude.

I went to one yesterday that isn't near my house. I got another project life kit and a couple of sheets of thickers. I especially liked the Amy Tan shape one. It had a lot of stars and hearts and things that could be used on any layout. I can't remember what the project life kit was and I'm too lazy to go downstairs and check. It had really bright colors, though. I saw the Click one everyone is talking about but it didn't appeal to me.
I'm going to the Tuesday Morning near my house today. We'll see what I'll get there. The alcohol markers are intriguing but I'm not sure I want to pay that much money. And yes, I know they are super cheap for alcohol markers.

There is no excuse for dumping things at the bottom that’s just bitchy to do

If I have time, I sometimes rearrange things so they go together better, like dies with dies, instead of randomly placed, but there is no way I would want to have to put things back after a lazy customer has trashed it. I would really resent that if I were an employee. There’s no excuse for dumping!

I find a hook that doesn't have much on it..then I pull a bunch of stock off and move it down the line. There is no rhyme or reason so I just move everything down a notch. I have also witnessed people pulling stuff off and just randomly put stuff down on the bottom or the shelves next to the hooks. Seriously it doesn't take anymore time.

Hit 3 TM this week since I was out of town. I bought another glass mat, TH halloween tissue garland, DCWV Dark Fairy pad, Jolees coffin embellishments, some vintage looking ephemera packs and a bunch of paper pads that I think I will return because they have more glitt on than I expected. I don’t like using glittered PP.

Wasn't TM supposed to have some great sale on August 3rd? I got an ad in my email but I'm not seeing any run to the store right now deals... What am I missing?

I got the ad in my email. It is mainly for WRMK tools. I looked at it. Not interested in anything they show, and I really don’t need anything else, so I think I will skip.

I was a little disappointed too with the special sale email. The upside is I didn’t have to make a mad dash to the store after work today. I did go on Wednesday and picked up some embossing folder, dies and one stamp set. I met another crafter while there and we had a long discussion about trimmers and the rare Gemini find. Guessing the ones found at TM are packaged for quilters. It uses different plates so you have to decide if it’s a good deal if you have to buy all the accessories.

Went to the TM forty miles south of me. They didn't have much new. I did end up with a paper pack of 25 that had white anchors and a navy background. I have a bunch of random beached water paper that will match it. This store also went to double the space as mine in town. It was so much neater and easy to see what they had. The manger said a few ladies were complaining that they cut down the craft items when they expanded it. No, now each aisle has half of what it had and it is so much easier to look through everything.

OMG y’all, the Albany Tuesday morning store is the neatest most organized Tuesday morning I’ve ever seen. ( no WRMK number punches tho ) but damn it was so so neat I didn’t dare think of putting anything back on a different hook. Not only were stamps together and dies together, but they were mostly by brand ( except 1 or 2 which I assume customers moved. )

I bought it very recently, although I have not set it up or used it yet. It’s printed on the box that it will cut fabric, and the dies included are geared more to quilters, but it’s supposed to work for both fabric and paper die cutting. It seems to have the same plates as the Gemini Jr, except the magnetic shim ($9.39 on Amazon) was not included. The plates are 9x12.5, allowing you to cut several dies at once. The instruction booklet is basically identical to the one provided with the Gemini Jr.

In haven’t been in a TM for weeks. I went yesterday, but my primary reason for going was not scrapping related. I was in search of the Skinny Syrup brand of 0 Calorie, 0 Sugar, 0 Carb flavoring syrups. I was happy to find a few but they had very little selection.
I decided to check out the craft aisle to see if my TM had done any remodeling or re-organizing like everyone was talking about. The store had started to straighten up the crafts over the last few months and I noticed that it was even neater and they had expanded to the other side of the aisle but only about 4 feet or so of shelving. I wasn’t surprised to find that they had very little of the WRMK sale items. Awhile back they had hired a woman that sells on eBay and they have regulars that shop the carts as they are putting stuff out. It’s just not worth checking out anymore unless I need to shop for other items any way.
On the bright side I did find 2 different 6 x 6 Christmas card stock paper pads by American Crafts. And just for fun 2 different DCWV paper projects: one is a kit to make cut little Paper Pumpkins ($3.99) , the other is a kit to make a Christmas Light Up Garland ($4.99). I thought they might be something fun to do with my grandson.
I may go back in a week or so because the clerk told me they will be getting more of the skinny syrups in sometime next week. I wish they had some Halloween or Thanksgiving themed crafting items, but this store had basically none.

I was able to get the Crate Paper All Heart items I was hoping for, although it took a couple trips to TM. 12x12 chipboard, ephemera, puffy stickers, washi tape and the 6x8 paper. That was really nice as I am liking this line.I haven't seen any Here+There or Wild Heart.
I did not see much for WRMK tools that were new (or actually much inventory), although I saw the Happy Jig on one trip. I thought I might get that closer to when it was released, but in thinking about it the last couple months I don't know that I would actually use it much, so I was able to easily pass. This is one product with the right amount of clever ideas on a blog, ease for figuring out how to write certain words, ideas for attaching to different things, I might have been quite into this. The concept is cool, but I guess I could have used more hand-holding and showing me how I could use this in different ways easily.
I have not seen the alphabet punch board (which I own from SB.com and REALLY like, or the number punch board.)
Has anyone tried the 800 number lately? I tried 2 different days and it wasn't connecting for me.

I wanted it, but the more I thought about it, I just wouldn't use it to be worth it. Plus when the tool gets a little older, the wire will be harder to find and then I wouldn't use the tool. I am glad I passed on it. I do like my word punch board and my TMs all had them and the numbers a few weeks ago. I would say each store got 5-7 of them.

The wire shaper is a repurposed tool from long ago, and the jewelry section of any craft store will have the wire in a variety of weights. I’m confident the wire will be available indefinitely there.

I just told myself that I saved about $40 buying there, so I should just get the paper pads and Halloween embellishments cuz they were just like free.

The jewelry section has different colors and weights/thicknesses of wire. I have an older (probably original) version of this tool, which I don’t use for paper crafting, but I also make jewelry, so I can use it for that.

I stopped at the TM furthest from me to make a return and left with nada! I didn’t even stop at my local store. I am trying to cut back and actually use the stash I bought this past year, unless it’s Authentique or G45 cuz I can’t resist vintage.

They also have lots of flowers (mostly in the purple hues). I am not a flower girl, so I didn't spend much time looking at the papers, but one is really flowery and the other maybe a bit more travel"y." They are are gorgeous though.

My store has had IRIS-ish cases (the 12 by 12 size) for $3.99 for a few weeks. They are on the upper shelf. That is a little less than buying them at M's with a coupon, although they are not IRIS brand they are almost identical.
No Halloween, Prima or anything else new except Project Life stuff since last month...
