Anyone hoping to get some scrap time in this weekend? I’ve been scrapping here and there. I ordered a bunch of pictures from Walgreens yesterday, hopefully I’ll get to pick them up in the morning, there are quite a few that I want to scrap. I’m looking forward to my drs appointment in St. Louis this month, I always stop by Tuesday Morning.

Hello, dasmith2! Glad to hear you have photos to pick up and that you are excited to scrap them. I have a ton of photos from my own summer adventures and those of my kids & grandkids. Hope to print a bunch more tomorrow that landed on my phone this week. Am enrolled in a miniLOAD over at ScrapHappy. Have 4 of the seven completed and hope to finish at least 3 more LO's to finish the week. Their theme is school and I am kind of bending the prompts to fit my summer photos, but I do have a couple of sets of school related photos I should probably do as part of that. Dh is going out for supper this evening so I will have the house to myself. Need to make him a card for tomorrow, but also may put together a couple of pages. Tomorrow we are going out for supper, but I should have the morning to scrap. Sunday I am off to a Potato Festival and then to visit the soon-to-be-my puppy, so more of a memory making/photo taking type of day.

I really hope to get some scrapping done this weekend. We are having company the next two, so I know i’ll not be doing any then. I hope all of you get a lot done.

Not me, atleast not right now. My upstairs (where I scrapbook) AC went out earlier in the summer and we had a new one installed. Or so we thought. I went up there on Tuesday and it wasn't working again. The repair guy who installed it is up there looking at it now to see what the deal is. It's been over 100 everyday this week and its just so hot up there. Im starting to worry supplies might be ruining in the heat.

Oh, no, mom. I hope not. Here's to working AC soon. Did I miss something, grammadee? A new puppy? I plan to spend an hour tonight cleaning up a bit and organizing some stamping supplies that arrived over the last 2 weeks. It's supposed to be brutally hot and humid for the next 4 days so I plan to get a lot of crafty time in.

Did I miss something, grammadee ? A new puppy? We have been looking for a female farm dog for almost a year. Heard about these 6 month old pups from our ddil who knows the owner’s niece. Going to go meet them on Sunday with my sister in law wh also wants a dog. If we like the dogs we can bring them home in a couple of weeks (after they recover from spaying) Attachments:

Cute puppies grammadee! I managed to get some time in last night. We have an early dinner out tonight so I'm hoping I feel motivated when we get home to come back and play some more.

I love the pups grammadee - hope they work out. They look like sweeties. The last couple of days I've made some progress on tidying up some half-finished card projects, cleared my backlog of cards to list in my shop (just have to write up the materials for the tax man), and got started on a trickier card design I've been mulling all week. I think I have a handle on how I want it to be now, I mocked up a version and I think it's going to work. So yes, I might find some time to do some digital pages this weekend. I'm several weeks behind on my weekly highlights project. It shouldn't take long to catch up once I commit to doing it. I have some good pictures to work with, perhaps too many though, which might slow me down.

I scrapped on Wednesday and hope to today. Dd was at Childrens yesterday until 2:30am today. Got 5 hours of sleep. Tired but don't want to nap so I can sleep tonight.
Plus some stickles are coming my way today!

Adds just the perfect touch of glitter without shedding all over. What colors are you awaiting? 😀

I have some photos to work on, though it I actually scrapbook is another matter. We all have colds, plus we're finishing up getting ready for another school year to begin.
I have two sets of birthday photos to scrap. Even though I have numerous birthdays every year to scrap, it is one of those themes that I never have enough stash for. I have just a few stickers left. Then the same old stamps I've had for years. And no special paper. You'd think I'd learn to buy more birthday stuff by now, but no.
I'm also still trying to finish last year's school photos before this school year begins.

Pets are 😎... grammadee, @julie5... but yes, they can interfere! Aside from the obvious cat sleeping on top of a project that is a fight for me (he is seriously cute and always wins. I figure the paper isn't going g anywhere and I should take advantage of cattentionwhile I have it), we are currently farming monarchs. Not really intentionally...started with 2, which have long since flown away, but currently hosting about 12 in various stages... they are a lot more work than you think, keeping milkweed fresh, containers clean, preventing escapes... I've got a layout done today, started with a sketch and a collection and it just streamlined my process enough that I wasn't pokey! Think I'll start another this evening. @lavendarlayoutlady, birthdays are not a fave of mine to scrap. I feel hemmed in by conventional icons and colours. And photos tend to be subpar (indoors, evening, blurry...) Ito am lacking birthday supplies because of it! calimom oh no! I hope all is well with your dd!

She has hEDS a connective tissue disorder and her knee and foot gave out on the stairs and down she went. Just a few joint sprains. I received: silver, red, gun smoke, orange, and twinkle!

Ooooh, new Stickles, enjoy!!! I need to go check out that gunsmoke color!
I got to finish up a page yesterday, and working on editing and printing photos to kit. Ugh, I hate this part of the process. I may take a break from the photo work and go scrap later today. All work and no play type of thing, ya know?!

Hope you get to play today, mamagidget. I hate getting behind in photo printing b/c then it becomes a JOB. If I can print pic's shortly after they are taken it is more of a fun reliving of the experience. Managed to get a batch of them printed yesterday so they are here and ready for pages when time and mojo allow. I will be away all day today, but managed to quickly put together a LO for LOAD this morning. I had done some prep work last night, so today's process was a little easier. Figured out how to use the prompt for the pages I had on the go, found the special items I needed. Of course the most time consuming part of the process was getting my hands on the letter stickers that Were. Right. HERE... Finally changed my mind and used something different, and I actually think I like the result better. So THERE sneaky stickers! You can come out of hiding any time, now. I don't care.

I am in my studio working on a travelers notebook that documents a trip earlier this summer. Trying to print photos from my Sprocket but of course it needs a charge. I realized I need to edit the photos anyway, so I am working on that. I always lighten them up for Sprocket printing.
I also need to print out some Cocoa Daisy printables I downloaded to go along with this project. I am using the June Cocoa Daisy memory keeping kit and travelers notebook to do the project, so I thought it would be nice to use some of the free printables as well. I have never printed printables, or at least not that I can remember. Hope the learning curve is not too steep.
The Cocoa Daisy kit came with an awesome stencil so I suppose while I am working on all that I can use that and give it time to dry. This will be my first time using a Cocoa Daisy travelers notebook and I am really looking forward to it. It just happened that the theme (blue and yellow with lots of lemons) fit in perfectly with the photos and stories from the trip. We stayed in an AirBnb with a lemon tree and there were actually a couple of lemon stories to go along with it. Serendipity.

Here is the layout I just finished and what I am doing today with my stickles. I outlined the pumpkin banner in orange and filled in the face with gun smoke. I also used gun smoke on the witch tag.

Thanks for sharing your pages, Ladies. That photo is super cute, craftymom101 and your page is--as usual--amazing. So love how you use placement and shape and colour. Would love to take a class from you. That Halloween page is really cute, calimom! Love that spooky house diecut, and what you did with the stickles really takes the premade stuff up a notch. Haven't used Stickles in a long time: maybe it is time for me to pull mine out. Don't have any "gun smoke" though... I need to finish the journaling from a quick couple of pages I put together yesterday before a road trip to spend time at a summer festival and visit my new pup. Dgs hit it off perfectly with one of them (sorry, no pictures), and I was a little worried she might be too energetic and uncontrollable, but the owner taught the 6 year old how to give stern one word commands, and she will stop her craziness instantly and sit down, so I think that one will be the one who comes home with us later this month. Started working on a two pager this morning. Decided it needed some watercolour on it. Apparently, my good quality water colour paints don't want to come out and play today so they are hiding themselves from me. The prompt over at Scraphappy was to use school supplies, though, so I pulled out a Crayola paint box from the kids' supplies and now am waiting for my pages to dry before adding the next layers. They will be pretty simple pages, so will go together quickly when I get at them again. Have already found and pinned down all the other things I need and done a little fussy cutting in prep, so good to go...
