If so many people hate it where are the people who say it?

I hate it too, it sounds so demanding. I never answer questions when someone does it LOL.

I was never bothered by it until I read about people being bothered by it here, then I saw how often it was being used and THEN I got annoyed.

I saw it when it first started, and thought it was quite cutesy and friendly as Aussie Meg said. I used it once for the same reason. That was the only time. It doesn't bother me, but I can see how people might feel as if they're being told what to do, like a child.

That one doesn't bother me. I get irrationally irritated by 'my bad,' and 'you do you.'

I hate it! I am in some Silhouette groups, and when someone posts "...and GO!" .. I have to bite my tongue. It comes off as someone saying " g o look this up for me and tell me how to do it, because I am far to important to try and do that on my own"... I also hate "Spam Me" .. I will go find a gif of Spam and put that in the reply. Yes!! And it was in Silhoutette and crafts groups where I saw it the most. The same with "picture for attention" and it will be of their child or some other random something that has nothing to do with the question or the group topic.

It's never bothered me before, but now I'm sure I'll think of you all next time I see it!

The people who use it aren't being rude, they're trying to be cutesy and trendy. It's amusing that our particular group here gets so annoyed by this one cutesy phrase. There are soooo many of them overused here on a regular basis. You might want to put your hand down on this one if you've ever been guilty of using any of the following: - This. - "rocking" an outfit or an accessory - I did a thing. - "... but I'm just a bitch like that." - Wow. Just wow. - Sorry, not sorry. - If you've ever referred to your 'squad' or your 'tribe' - "best comment ever" or "you won the internet" - said anything was 'on fleek' - made any joke here about popcorn on a contentious thread I'm sure there are plenty more I haven't thought of, but you get the idea. We all use stupid, trite, trendy phrases from time to time. We just may pick a different poison than someone else.

That and "full body chills" are probably two of the most annoying phrases ever.

A good friend of mine has been doing it for years, it is completely annoying and obnoxious IMHO.

It doesn't bother me in the least when my friends do it. I guess I hear their voices and know they aren't rude or pushy. Just being silly is the way I take it. But I'm a member of a craft group on Facebook and there it really bothers me. I don't know you and you want me to dig through photos to post my project a *second* time because you can't scroll through posts and then not even say, pretty please with sugar on top?

You know, I’m a very laid back, live and let live person where almost nothing bugs me but this one does. Lol. I’m very tolerant and mostly think, you post what you want, doesn’t bother me however this one is just annoying. Hahaha I am the opposite..... I am very intolerant about so many things that people post, but for some reason this one doesn't bother me at all. The people who use it aren't being rude, they're trying to be cutesy and trendy. But now that you've all planted that seed in my head, I bet that the next time I see it, it's gonna annoy the crap out of me! (Now, if only that friend of a friend would stop posting "nom nom nom" on posts about food, I'd be happy!) I think you explained why I don’t like it, I hate it when women try to be cutesy and trendy. Too many women try to hard for attention instead of just being themselves.

I don't want to see a photo of your kid, I just want to read the topic or consider your question. Leave the kid out of it, and also, please wipe his face. I understand that adding a photo helps FB's algorithms think "oh, this is important," but it would be nice if the photos were relevant.

It seems like the people think they have some big, interesting topic to discuss and others are clamoring to add their view. I find it a turn off but then again a lot of stuff annoys me

Oh, I don't like "cutesy" either, but a lot of people here were saying they think people are being rude or demanding when they say it. I was just pointing out that the intent is to be trendy, not rude.
