I dislike both of these collections! I hate saying that because I want all scrapbook complainers to flourish, but neither of these collection are usable for me. Confetti is to primary and saturated, and I don’t like most of the icons. Save Second Base... I hate the name and it’s sooooo pink. What do you think?

Not what I expected by the name of "Save Second Base" as I watch some baseball.
On the 4th paper the dark pink on pink tone. Are those flying vajayjays or bats?

Woah. I so would not have chosen 'Save second base' as a title. No way! That is too crass. And while pink is the color of BC ribbon, it is WAY too pink. Hurt my eyes

I actually think I like Confetti! Maybe it's because I have no birthday paper, but I do like the bright primary colors.
And I am very thankful that I don't have a use for Save Second Base.

Craftymom, anything pop up yet in regards to Crate Paper Christmas line? I’m not seeing anything yet but I’ll keep a look out. I’m dying to see the new collection! Snow and Cocoa is one of my favorite winter collections ever and I’m hoping for another must-have from CP.

I like the colorful striped pattern in Confetti & basic pink dots on white background in Save Second Base & hope the latter collection, despite its middle school inspired title, helps the staggering number of women who will/have be/en diagnosed with breast cancer document their fight/survival. TFS.
Neither. It appears the icon is winged hearts.

Who thought that was a good name for a breast cancer paper.
UGH!
Scrap manufacturers are hopeless.

The birthday line wouldn't be my first choice for donation cards but I could see using it for that if I had some (for free). Not quite my style though. Not as cute as Doodlebug.
I was so confused by your mention of pink with something called Save Second Base! OK, makes sense that it's those garish shades of pink considering it's linked to breast cancer colors. I'm not a fan, personally, but I get that it would be useful for women who identify with that branding/association with breast cancer.
I support the idea of the product but I DESPISE the naming. "Save the tatas" and all that is bad enough IMO (let's focusing on saving people's lives and health) but to them associate it further with the outdated/ juvenile (at best) and disgusting (at worst) notion that a woman's body is something to be conquered and won, a game... yuck. (Yeah, I know it's just a metaphor or whatever, but what's the underlying message...? Do women get to score on men's bodies? It's not a great way to talk about sex.)
In terms of branding, it's also not very obvious what the collection is about - I guess it might give some people a laugh, but for most people searching for baseball supplies it's going to be confusing and for people searching for cancer-related supplies too - in the end I'm not sure that the "cuteness" or memorable name (?) will pay off in terms of people finding what they're looking for. Not the best branding choice, in my view.

I’m not a fan of Becky Fleck Moore’s style, and that’s ok! We aren’t all going to like the same things. I did make a mistake... the name of the Breast Cancer collection is Operation: Save Second Base. I don’t think that makes it any better.

I can’t use either collection.
Even if I did have subject matter to scrap with save 2nd base I don’t like those. I also do t like the name.
I thought those are hearts with wings.

I would probably buy Save Second Base if I had attended Crop for a Cure or a fundraiser or 5K or something. A few years ago grammadee and I attended Rock for a Cure but I’ve already scrapped it and this line would not really work for a rock show. I don’t like the name either. My first thought was baseball. Confetti is too primary for me. I scrap mostly teen and adult birthdays these days.

I love the colours in Confetti, but I still have a bunch of little guys with birthdays to scrap. Could even go more bold and I would still like those colours.
I researched the phrase "Save 2nd Base" and I guess it was a slogan used for a breast cancer walk several years ago. There was a story about a couple of teens maybe five years ago who were sued for marketing Tshirts with the motto from the fundraiser on them--to raise money for a different cancer cause, I think. Hope Becky or PhotoPlay doesn't get in trouble using the title. I love Becky Fleck and PhotoPlay and I know pink is the colour of bc awareness, but don't see myself using that line: it is just SOOO pink! Don't have anything to scrap on this topic, either: have not walked in Relay for Life for several years (and if I do the colours are more yellow and terra cotta and nighttime blues) and our cancer donations are usually given quietly at funerals, so nothing to scrap there...

Save 2nd Base is just wrong, on so many levels... some pink is expected, I guess, in scrapbooking, but man! all that pink hurts.my.eyes!! I did the 3-day for the Cure walk a number of years ago, and I still need to scrap those photos, but I would NOT use this paper for ANYthing. I mean, Good Lord, they could have added SOME other color besides pink to it- even just a gray, maybe!
I also think the 'save the tatas' 'save 2nd base' slogans etc. are crass. I know not every woman thinks about them the same way, but when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I was more concerned about saving my LIFE than my body parts. There's more to my femininity than my boobs, and they should have at least been a little less 'juvenile' about the idea of the whole collection. (in my opinion, anyway- not that it matters to them-- lol.)

Not impressed with either one of these collections which would include colors, design and word use.

I like parts of the Confetti birthday collection. I like the primary colours in a birthday collection. I'm glad I don't have a use for the Operation:Save Second Base collection as my cancer isn't breast. However I'll be odd-man-out and say I think it's a cute name and I love the pink. Just Save Second Base I too thought it was baseball related. Couldn't figure why pink would be used. Then when I saw it was Operation:Save Second Base I knew it was breast cancer related and expected pink. But I know the peas hate pink so I get the dislike. lol To each their own I guess.

I don't hate pink outright, but something about that particular shade grates on my nerves... it's too much like Pepto Bismol. And the sheer QUANTITY of pink.

I’m not a fan of bright colors so no to Comfetti. I agree that Save Secomd Base is an extremely tacky title but I do give them kudos for releasing a line for people who want to scrap their journey or their loved one’s. Plus according to their website they will be donating some of the profit to the American Cancer Society. Personally breast cancer, chemo, and surgery were probably the worst time of my life. I never had a desire to scrap it, but I know for others it can be therapeutic.

It's like they were trying to be as offensive as possible to breast cancer patients. Plus it's hideous.

I scrolled down past Confetti and jumped back a little and exclaimed "OH" at all of the pink. Was not expecting that. Ya gotta warn the peas about the pink eye assualt they are going to face craftymom101 lol! I can maybe see Confetti since my kids are still on the before teenager stage but wow, so many reasons to say no on the pink pack whose name I don't even want to degrade myself by saying.
