In the container store there is a section for ELFA , I love everything about them! It’s very easy to add or remove and also change shelves. Have a look

I've fallen down a rabbit hole of The Original Scrapbox products... I'm not blaming this thread, but maybe, subconsciously... If I had a room and enough money I would get a Dreambox. Or maybe one of the smaller ones because I just printed out the "plan your Dreambox" page and I don't think I could fill it more than halfway, even if I gathered all the crafty and hobby things from the entire house into it. Anyway, since you like closed storage, lovestocreate , I thought I'd mention it. It would be fun to build a room around a Dreambox. www.theoriginalscrapbox.com/blogs/news/dreambox-vs-workbox-3-0

I've been searching and searching and I really like this table: Ethan Allen craft table
And I can't help it, but I love the rug Jennifer McGuire had. I found it on Overstock, though and it seems it's gone down a lot in price! Floral rugNote the EA Big Idea Craft Table is from its Disney collection, which is designed for children.

I dream of a craft room you are soooo lucky. When I look at your space I envision filling that long wall with floor to ceiling shelves. I love my stuff open and easy to grab. I’d place a long table down the middle so I can work and swivel around to grab supplies. On the short end would be a desk for computer and cameo. Under low windows a long low single shelf/cube setup. I use the modular double cubes that my kids had in their bedrooms. They are extremely sturdy, modular and large enough to stand paper pads on end and make extra shelf space. Target sells something similar but mine have backs and some have diniders and some are open rectangles. Mine are very heavy an laminated. Only 1 showed slight damage after 27 years of hard use.
Have fun and post after photos.

Oh man, thanks to GiantsFan and PaperAngel ! I totally did not catch the measurements of that desk. I would have been really disappointed when my tiny desk arrived. Hmm....now to find something similar in grown up size.
Thanks for all the ideas and links. It's so fun to go online window shopping!

I googled it but couldn’t find it Gosh, you'd think they'd have it front and center! but it took me some digging in my browser history to find. I'm not sure if this link will work but it's probably the most useful : dreambox dimensions
here's their blog post about planning it out link which has this printable with no dimensions linked halfway down (in case the pdf printable links don't work.

That totally reminds me of the episode where Frankie orders a new dining room table and it ends up being a handcrafted table for a dollhouse. Glad the Peas saved you, that would have been so maddening.

We bought a new house and moving next month! I'm excited and freaking out a little. While I wait, I'm trying to plan out the new spaces. After all these years I finally get my very own craft room! You'd think I'd have it all figured out, but nope I’m kinda in the same boat - new house 10 months ago and I’m still tryin to figure out what to do with my room. Just this week I decided I want a sofa in here, but that’s about it so far. I just don’t always want to have to sit at a desk - sometimes I want to lounge while I craft

I'm just picturing myself sitting at a tiny desk with my knees bumping.

The Peas have a lot of great ideas!

I just don’t always want to have to sit at a desk - sometimes I want to lounge while I craft This reminded me of a Dreambox tour video I watched this week - a guy running a quilting business out of a tiny NYC apartment. He had his Dreambox/Workbox set up at the end of his bed, and then I realized his bed was actually his office/sewing chair... so I guess when he gets tired working he can just scoot back and take a nap!

My husband often comments on me not using my scrap room and instead creating on my bed. I love scrapping on my king-sized bed. Lots of room to spread out and I have a bit of a needy pup who tends to always have her head on my leg. We joke that I am her emotional support human. A girl has to have options, right?

I watched every season hoping that someone would clean up the crap they leave everywhere. And the funky pillars in the middle of the house are too much.

Congrats on your new space. That window is fabulous. I like the wall color too even though you may change that.
In that space, if money were no object (which for me it always is) I'd want kitchen counter with closed cabinets on the bottom of the wall opposite the windows with open shelving on top going all the way up. Maybe wrapping the same around but making the back wall into a desk area. Then I'd want a work surface on wheels that I could move around so I could work facing those windows. I'd place a comfy chair by the entry way door.
