Hormones can really play a part in weight gain, so keep that in mind. I think it's good you're alternating the intermittent fasting. you might even do 6/18 now and then, and watch the salt intake. Don't worry about the scale - just keep eating the right way and it will come off.

I had a friend who was having success with a local doctor’s plan, so I tried him out. He got my thyroid and hormones straightened out, and I’ve been eating low carb/high protein. It hasn’t been fast, but I’m at 95 pounds gone after a year. I wonder if you are trying to do too much.
For me, I don’t miss chocolate and chips, because I have those when I want them - just in reasonable quantities and paired with healthier meal choices the rest of the day It would not be sustainable (permanent) for me if I didn’t.
Also, if you haven’t had a checkup lately, I think our bodies react in strange ways to things being off. I am convinced I was diabetic for a good year before I was diagnosed, and even though I was monitoring every calorie I ate that year, I would loose 4 pounds one week and gain 4 pounds the next. Once my blood sugar was stabilized, I was able to lose weight again. If only I had stuck with it back then!
