I went on a help message board and it seems the problem is universal. People think Fitbit just wants people to upgrade. If that is the case, I'm ticked. I like my Flex because it's small enough to put on my shoelaces when I walk.
Anyone else still have the Flex and can't sync?

I don't know about any conspiracy angle...but I was never able to get my Fitbit to sync and I did all sorts of trouble shooting (it was four or five years old). I finally just bought a Garmin and I've been happier with it than I was the Fitbit. Sadly, so much of today's technology is basically one and done.

It may be a while before Fitbit gets any more of my money. My DS got me a Charge 2 for Mother's Day about 2 years ago. I really did like it. Until I lost it. I used my DH's Blaze and like the "smart" features it had. I found my Charge after about a week of wearing the Blaze. I didn't want to go back to it but I did. As soon as the Versa came out I grabbed it. It was their version of a smartwatch. I loved that thing. When it synced. It would lose the Bluetooth connection and I would go through all the steps to get it back. But I loved that thing. Until I had it on last Wednesday morning and I saw it flicker on when I rolled over in bed. Only to find out later in the day it was dead. I did every type of reset, kept it on the charger(was 100% charged), tried it all. Nope, she was dead.
I have an Android smartphone so I went with the Samsung active. Have had it for a week and I am pleased with it. Could it have a better battery life? Yep, but I was not going to get another FB. I have read too many stories of them just dying. Mine was just over a year and a half old. Should still be good. So while I don't necessarily believe a conspiracy on FB's part, I wouldn't doubt it.
To answer your question, no, I don't have a Flex but I had a hard enough time getting the Versa to sync.

Did you try syncing it to more than one device? I had a Fitbit Zip looooooong after more recent models came out and I never had an issue. So no, I don't think it's a conspiracy by Fitbit. My friend has a Flex and it syncs fine.

Dh had the same fitbit and it no longer synced with his Samsung 8 after an update. So he got the new one that came out in late spring.
I don't think it is a conspiracy. That would be lile me saying "well I can't bluetooth sync my 4 year old selphy printer to Windows 10 so its a conspiracy with Selphy to get me to buy a new one."
They don't have to continue support of older fill in the blank.

My friend has a Flex and it syncs fine. It is synced to my PC and my Android. Worked perfectly for years until last night. Has your friend confirmed today that it is still syncing fine? Message boards are lighting up with disgruntled Flex owners. Evidently Fitbit's canned answer is *It must be your device*. Yeah people all over the country have devices that stopped syncing around the same time.

I've been able to sync no problem for several years...until right now. It just says "Looking..." when it's trying to connect. I've never had that issue before.

Finally got mine to work - I added a new device (the same one - replacing what was there) and it's back to normal now and all my data is still there, too!

I have an old Fitbit One - it hasn’t synced for a couple of years.
