Hi everyone. I know it's still Sketchtember 7th for most of you, but it's the 8th here, so without further ado, here is your Sketchtember #8 sketch. I decided on a double page sketch for today, as most of the sketches so far have been single pagers. This one appealed to me because I have so many beach holidays that I need to scrap, so I need a lot of double page LOs with lots of photos. Either side of this one can easily be converted into a single page LO if you prefer. The twist for this sketch is to use a combination of ribbon and buttons in some way. Sketchtember Points: Create a project using the sketch - 1 point Apply the twist to any project - 1 point Use the sketch AND the twist on a project - 5 bonus points I have created a template in Photoshop for any digital scrappers. Here is the link to the template in Dropbox: Sketchtember 8. You will need to delete the top layer. Let me know if this link doesn't work, I haven't done it this way before. And here is my take on it. I stuck very close to the original sketch. Have fun!

I love this sketch and your layout!
I wanted to tell you that I came across the Basic Grey paper in my stash that you used on one of your layouts recently. I’m trying to push myself to use BG since I have way too much of it, especially considering I’m not overly fond of it 😕

Great sketch! And I can always use ideas for two pages and lots of photos. Thanks, AussieMeg! Your take on it is stunning. Love those sweet faces and summery colours, and that button/ribbon flower is genius!

Color Me Silly is still one of my favourite kits, but I haven't used my digital one yet. Hmmmm that could be a challenge for myself this month.....

AussieMeg - Wonderful Page so well balanced linda - I love the 1 page, I contemplated do the same thing but in the end went for the 2 pager. I love the blues and grey tones So here is my take on it. I already had these photos sent off to print so no time to resize to 3x3 and too big to cut down so left them pretty much as 4x6 Pooltime by Dictionary-1, on Flickr Damn It just realized I forgot to add the twist..sigh

Linda I love this cut down to a single page layout! The simple banner and heart is the perfect finishing touch. KelleeM I love those pinkfresh papers and they're lovely here. I really like that bow to finish it off - perfect for a birthday page. I've left praise in the gallery for AussieMeg and Dictionary.

Linda great job converting it into an 8.5 x 11 single page LO! You always use the most perfect colours for your pages. Dictionary I also love the colours you've used - they're so pretty and unicorny! Right up my alley. I already had these photos sent off to print so no time to resize to 3x3 and too big to cut down so left them pretty much as 4x6 Yes I'm sorry about that - I didn't take that into account when I chose the sketch. Because I do digital scrapping, I can easily resize any photo I want and I didn't think about the rest of you. KelleeM I love how you changed the photo sizes to suit what you already had, and yet it still looks like the sketch. The floral paper is so pretty, and YAY! Food photos! You know how much I love those. Chinagirl828 your page is stunning. I think the sketch worked really well for your travel photos. grammadee, I love your idea of using the blocks instead of photos on the left page. Love the cute little bus! ABCreations what a great kit! So perfect for your wonderful photos. joyfulnana I love your take on it, same same but different. The paper is so cute and the photos - just adorable! buggirl47 wow, I love that you got such a huge photo on your page! What a gorgeous pup. The papers and embellishments are perfect. Thanks for playing along everyone!
