It's those damn light bulbs  . Just a couple of questions... Why are the people near him under the same lights not orange?? And why is he still orange when he's outside? (but I'm sure if he says it, it's true  )

I just heard Andrea Mitchell say it was an Obama-era rule he wants to roll back. That’s not how I remember it. I believe it was a Bush 43-era rule.
Maybe Trump just thinks it was Obama. Maybe someone needs to tell him it was a Republican. Well, not that he really cares. He just likes wrecking things.

As someone who needed to know the color temperature of different lights as part of my job, I would love to inform him that the new LED bulbs are COOLER in color temp than the older ones. Much more true to daylight. So he would actually be looking LESS orange under the new bulbs.

If he was someone else, I might think that it was an attempt at self-deprecating humor ... but no. He's not capable of anything like that.
My husband still refers to the more energy efficient bulbs as "Obama bulbs." I've reminded him 63 times that it was Bush who signed the legislation requiring better efficiency standards, but like most people of his political persuasion, he believes what he wants to believe.

The CFL bulbs are Worse for the environment as incandescent or at least just as bad. The chemicals inside are not safe, the manufacturing of them is bad for the planet & they are a fire hazard when in use. I personally have seen several of them of them catch fire. One burning a room up & requiring fire department response. The LED lightbulbs are the bomb tho. I doubt you could convince me to go back to incandescent now. I love LED bulbs. |

I’d be interested to see who would actually switch back. I loved my old reveal light bulbs and really missed them at first but when we switched out all the bulbs in our house, our electric bill went down $125. Just from freaking light bulbs.
