Iβm not normally a Dior fan, or a saddlebag fan, but ππππ

Iβm a little embarrassed to say that it was really interesting to see how a bag is constructed. And itβs pretty, too!

I have a leather Dooney saddle bag and I love it! But this one is beautiful. Way out of my price range, however...
We can dream.

I love watching the way its made. The denim isn't my thing, but the style of bag is something I'd carry.

I love watching the way its made. The denim isn't my thing, but the style of bag is something I'd carry. maybe it is how they made it that interests me so. I certainly canβt afford a $3500 purse. I wouldnβt normally gravitate toward a saddle bag, I donβt normally carry denim because the edges fade. But that one is so pretty. I like how they prepared the fabric before even cutting the bag. I could create pretty things with that Oval they cut out of it.

I want this bag BAD. I saw the ad on Instagram the other day and saved it just so I could covet it.

That was cool to watch - thanks for sharing. If only it didn't have the big, clanky "C" and "D" on the strap, I'd like it more.

I don't care for the bag, but you can't help but appreciate the care and attention to detail that goes into its creation.

Pretty, but much nicer without the big gold letters. Interesting construction video, TFS.

This is very interesting! I've just started dipping my pinky toe into learning to sew, so anything about how things are constructed perk my ears up. That bag, however, is hideous (sorry!). Well, the shade of blue is very pretty. I'd definitely wear some jeans or a jacket made of the material, if I could afford it.

It's very cool to see how it's made but I think the bag itself is ugly.

That was interesting to watch. I got a heavy duty sewing machine not too long ago that will sew denim, canvas, and leather. One of the things I want to do with it is learn more about bag construction so I can make things to my own specifications. So watching bags being made gives me little bits of insight and inspiration.
I like the shape of that one. Not into branded goods with logos as design features though. But the shape was really interesting.

I'm not into logos on anything. I certainly couldn't ever in my mind even if I was lottery winner, justify $3700 for a purse. But the process was very interesting to me.

Dior regularly posts these "making of" videos for their clothes and accessories. Highly recommend the social media follow if you like craftsmanship, sewing and embroidering. French artisanat at its finest. Dior are expanding their "made in France" product offer again and it's nice to see. For anyone interested in haute couture, this documentary is one of those treasures to watch (will be far more pleasant if you understand some French):
