you would gift to a teenager living in Europe. Must be readily available, as in, I need to buy it today.
I can't think of anything that might be considering delicious, yet not already available there.

Plain old every day Hershey's bar is the most iconic US candy, imo.
Necco wafers may be something they can't get there? But they are pretty hard to get here too given the company that made them went defunct. You might be able to get them at a Cracker Barrel.

We live in Europe, but some countries in Europe may have access to different types of candy than we do. So even if WE can't get it, other European countries might.
That being said, my immediate thoughts were Reece's Pieces/ Cups, Hershey's Kisses and seasonal M&M's (like orange/purple/green for Halloween, red/green for X-mas etc)
Candy made by Mars seems to be everywhere, Hershey's and Reece's not so much. Also, my kids LOVE Pop Tarts, but they are not easy to come by in Norway at least.

They loved every type, every flavor, every size. When my husband went over to see the same family, he packed a whole bag with Oreo cookies.

Salt Water Taffy?
Lifesavers?
I wouldn't bother with American chocolate.

Definitely NO American chocolate. ick. Hershey's especially...it's just too sweet and not creamy like European chocolate. I was going to suggest one of the flavors of Oreos (I believe you can buy regular Oreos in Europe, although they might be on the imported shelf and therefore kind of expensive).

But they are coming out with more Oreo flavors here now, and has become easy to get a hold of, so I didn't immediatly think of it. If there are new and a bit strange flavors coming out, that would always be fun to try 10 years ago Skittles were the thing we always wanted people to bring over from the US, but those are common here too now.

Ghirardelli? You can get it at grocery stores where I live. It’s made in California.

I’d probably do some of the Reese’s pieces/cup combo, weird flavors of M&Ms, or Oreo flavors. US chocolate is horrible compared to almost any other chocolate I’ve ever had outside the States. But the weird flavors of candy/foods are fairly hard to come by, at least at regular stores.

Moon pies--not candy and not delicious but probably not available anywhere but USA. Different flavor varieties.

Real smarties? The sugar kind lol? Salt water taffy? Malted milk balls? Skittles?
There’s a store by me that sells those old fashioned wax soda bottles I can’t imagine any other country had that stuff lol. But those probably aren’t readily available
I’d go with skittles & starburst & a chocolate bar.

Does it have to be chocolate? Will that even ship well? If not, how about some candy like Abba Zaba, Rocky Road, Big Hunk, Pop Rocks, Milk Duds, Sugar Babies or salt water taffy?

My mom always takes See's candy- specifically the suckers when she goes to visit people in Europe. A big box.

Our friend from China really liked Mike and Ike’s, and she used to bring back large boxes every time she came. Adding to that, I think Hot Tamale’s could be a curious candy to those outside the US...

I wouldn’t send chocolate. European chocolate tastes sassy better than American chocolate.
I love SweetTarts. I’ve been eating them since I was a kid. Do they have those over there? If not, I’d send those.
