Aaargh, I have tried FOUR TIMES to post a reply on this thread but it keeps crashing. I will try again..... joyfulnana , I love your take on the sketch. At first glance the sketch is quite feminine and with the colours and patterns you've used, it makes it more masculine. I love the dots at the ends of the journaling strips. And the journaling itself is wonderful - very funny! Dictionary , I really like that you've enlarged the photos. They are such great photos that they need to be bigger. I love the wood background paper and the 'love' paper, they look so good together. (Hmmm, I think I might make my own 'love' paper.....) It's such a perfectly put together page. |

Lovely sketch joyfulnana and your take on it is full of energy, gives me a chuckle! AussieMeg, your take is soft and sweet and the stitching feels so "babyish", very pretty. Dictionary - love the classic/dressed up vibe you gave yours with the black and white, like a tux, but the woodgrain relaxes it! |

Linda, cute use of the sketch. I giggled at your slime photos.I had to compress the sketch too since I also scrap 8.5x11. Dictionary, I love your photos. Such cute boys. I think this sketch looks great with your bigger photos. That's a beautiful page. Here is mine. I turned my paper on the side to make room for 2 photos. I made clouds instead of scalloped top border. My layouts never look much like the sketches but I appreciate the sketches to get me started. Thanks joyfulnana.  Today

Beautiful work with this sketch ladies! Dictionary I think your photos look perfect size and I love that black and white/wood color combo! linda fun photos! I love how you made this work for you in the 8.5x11 size and still got 2 photos on it! The bright colors are perfect for that slime. @abcreations beautiful page! Love the banners and the notebook and so much white space really makes the center pop out as the focus! Love in the gallery for AussieMeg, Chinagirl828 and nylene. |
