I love Instagram but ....
If I never see another mention of Grove Collaborative, somebody running on a treadmill or a little boy peeing outside, that would be fine with me.
What do you see too much of on Instagram?

Inspirational reposts. My friend fills her story with them. I try not to look at her story, but she also puts a few family photos in her story.

I'd look up the Grove Collaborative, but I don't want to get inundated with their ads. For me, it is knitting and travel. Way too easy to go down the rabbit hole.

Oh wow - we must follow completely different accounts lol. I've never seen any of those! LOL, me either. I have no idea what Grove Collaborative is, but after typing it out, invariably it'll show up on any web page I go to now. I can't think of anything I see too much of on IG, and if I do feel like I've had enough of one particular person or thing, it's just so easy to unfollow that I don't give it a second thought

Oh man, those annoying Grove collaborative ads!!! Hate them!! For those curious, DO NOT google it because you will get ads every time you go online, and you will curse the day it was ever mentioned here. 😂😆
And I am annoyed with all the people linking ads to these New Balance shoes, yet they never have a size 11...only go up to size 10 so then I get even crabbier. The excess of influencers pushing them, but then they don’t even offer my size...sends me over the edge some days, lol!

This pose that every single influencer does just drives me crazy. On the day everyone was flying out to NYFW, I ran across at least 10 difference girls doing a variation of this with their toe pointed out to the front usually with their sunnies on staring wistfully off to the right. I don't know why it bugs me, but it really does! And everyone has a LV Neverfull.

That article is absurd. Shaming women and girls for the way they present themselves in photos because this writer has decided she's above it all... even though she's been "guilty" of it plenty herself. Ugh. If someone likes the way they look in photos in that pose, that's their choice. Enough with the judging everyone for everything. UGH.

I haven’t seen any of those images ever on Instagram. 😄. (They probably hang out with Ken Burns).
I would really like to not see slime squishing videos on my Instagram. I don’t understand where they come from. I don’t follow slime squishes, I don’t click on them when I go to the Explore button. I don’t get it.

My thoughts as well, but I figured maybe I was being "out there" so I didn't say anything. I thought the article was ridiculous and very poorly written.

But I still hate that overly-done pose

I had those for awhile... and other strange sensory ones with cutting bars of soap and exploding things. No idea what I ever clicked on to generate that algorithm. If if I never see another pregnant woman, of any gestational age, doing that weird framing her belly pose to show off that yes she is indeed pregnant it will be too soon. It almost reminds me of the really over the top gestures and poses the models would do when I watched the price is right as a kid.

If ads get to be too much, you can view instagram via your regular browser and there are no ads. I only see ads on the app.

I report every obvious influencer post as spam. I didn't want it, it's showing up in my feed, so I'm going to report it.

I’m getting so sick of instagram...it’s full of “influencers” whining about people being rude to them in comments and DMs. If you mandate that I must greet you and compliment you in my comment before I can ask you a question, I’m thinking I’m definitely not gonna bother.

I mostly only follow bookstagram so I don't know what most of the things posted before me even are. But I do not need a weekly "shelfie" of your bookcase arranged by color. It looks exactly like the photo you posted last week, and the week before and the week before that!

More of this!
"vsco is such a positive environment: wanna constant post ab your boyf? yes girl you go. wanna only post ab your pup? heck yes we’re here for this. wanna post ab every meal you eat? plz gal I wanna see that açaí bowl. it allows you to be who you are w no judgment & that’s amazing"

If ads get to be too much, you can view instagram via your regular browser and there are no ads. I only see ads on the app. About 90% of the time I am looking at IG on my computer browser. It makes the experience so much more pleasant! I can't think of anything I see too much of on IG, and if I do feel like I've had enough of one particular person or thing, it's just so easy to unfollow that I don't give it a second thought I am constantly following and unfollowing IG accounts. Apparently I have a short attention span and low tolerance levels. One account I would never, ever unfollow though are accounts that show photos and videos of cute kittens named Dora!
