After the discussion here about the Hero Arts MMH kit this past month, the weird cabinet of curiosities that most of us weren't so keen on, I was looking forward to seeing what Card Cut Ups would do with it, since he usually has a unique take on these kits. He's also pretty honest about what he thinks of them since he's not actually on their DT. He said he thought it was a bit of a "one trick pony" kit at first glance but he came up with some pretty inventive uses for it. It's still a no for me, but I thought I'd share since the kit is still available.

I just watched this a little while ago. He's amazing. Turning it into a Mondrian?!?!
I really don't like HA kits - too many tiny images. But he can turn almost any kit into something that is far above what I could do w/it.

I agree...such creative use of that kit with meticulous eye for detail! Very clever. But oh, that laugh...

I love this guy! He has single-handedly made me a Love From Lizi fangirl. Now, if I can just get an order in before the darn kits sell out...!

This guy has some serious skills in using markers in addition to creative ideas.

I seriously hit play on this video and within 30 seconds, my dh has asked me a question and then told me about possible plans with friends. In between, my ds came running in to tell me I have to come see something he wants to buy. Oh, and now my dh is telling me we have baseball tickets for tomorrow. sigh. I actually own this kit so I kinda want to see what I can do with it. Maybe later....

He's amazing. Turning it into a Mondrian?!?! Right?! That was the one that surprised me the most! He's really good at thinking outside the box. Sometimes I'm just stunned by what he sees in a product or kit. I like that he doesn't do process videos because I think he gets to be a lot more randomly creative that way.

He really does have a creative take on things. I don't think I've seen anyone else doing 10 card videos who comes up with as many genuinely surprising, original ideas as he does. And he seems to be a nice guy, always responds enthusiastically to comments. I think he deserves more fame, but I also like that he's not beholden to anyone and their idea of what social media/influencing should look like.

I did get to watch it and got some good ideas. I cut out a template of the cabinet/door diecut like he did. As I was doing it, I realized this may be a perfect way to finally start using my stamp positioner. I could use the template to line up all the odds and ends small stamps. That was part of what I liked about this kit—all the odds and endsy little stamp images.

It's such a handy tool once you get used to using it. It should make this set much more quick/fun.

Great video. Even though I’m not really interested in this kit I’m looking forward to watching some of his ones.

you guys, I almost got sucked into this, lol!! I love what he did with that stamp set, and I love the teeny tiny nature stamps- bird skull, butterfly, etc. but what the heck would I DO with them? I don't make cards! Heck, I hardly scrapbook!! but he made them seem so interesting!
