Here’s my most recent crochet I love these! They all look perfect! I crocheted a trees worth of snowflakes about 8 years ago and we use some of them each year. I also crocheted our tree’s angel that we’ve used each year: Your angel is beautiful!

I didn't get the yarn pack because I didn't like the changes, so I'm not C-A-L-ing. It's probably just as well as my life has turned into a crazy mile-a-minute mess right now. I'm still working on my Moorland when I have time, I just am not having much of it. I didn't care for the color substitutions either. I couldn't believe my luck that I ended up with an original Wild Hedgerow kit after I told them to cancel it. What colorway were you looking at? I thought you wanted the Open Fields one. Maybe they will get more kits in in the future and you can try at a later time. Yes, I wanted Open Fields. I've actually looked at a few sites to see if the right colors are available, but not yet. It's fine, I've got plenty to do, I just wanted to join the club!

I'm still working (slowly) on my crocheted-from-scratch-with-no-pattern cardigan. I've now completed the back panel and both front panels, and have started on a sleeve. I have to work out how to put buttonholes into a FPHCD/BPHDC ribbing. Yeah.

I have one about that size and a couple of much smaller ones (5-6" tall I think) that my late MIL crocheted over 30 years ago. Until you posted this, I'd never seen any others. Mine are not decorated, but seeing yours makes me think I should at least add a ribbon or two.

Yes, she and the snowflakes I crocheted that are similar to (but not as nice as) the ones made by snoopy, are all starched. The pattern I used for her also gave instructions for making a cone that I dried her on and which she sits on when not on the tree to prevent her from getting smushed.

I am amazed snoopy. The intricate detail... I don't know if I have patience, skills, or eyesight for that. And elaine your angel is awesome. I would love to have a crochet Christmas. Crochet along ladies, I am officially over the puff stitch! But I still have two left to do... I might skip it this weekend and come back to it later. I just want to work on something less frustrating. I made a few modifications to the pattern. I don't know if I like it better but it was a bit easier so I'm going with it. How's everyone else getting along?

I finished last weeks squares on Tuesday (well, not the bonus ones...). Wednesday night I was just brain dead after a crazy day at work and the kiddo was insane, so nothing got done that night lol Though I did finish watching The Politician on Netflix. Loved it! Last night my ILs stopped by for a while after getting back from their trip, then the kiddo and I walked down to the high school for their home coming parade. He went to bed, and I worked on sorting things for a garage sale we are having in 2 weeks. Going to do my best to get back on track tonight!

How's everyone else getting along? As I bitched and moaned earlier, I hated doing the puff stitch too. I hear you, sister! I’ve done 2 Bud squares and 1 Sunshine so far this week. I have to really watch my tension, as the first 1 of each that I made ended up just at 15 cm, rather than 15.5-16 cm. I consciously loosened my tension on Bud Square #2, and that ended up at 15.5 cm. I’ll probably get a few more done tomorrow during college football.

Its awfully fussy isn't it?

Are we having a crochet moan-along? If so, may I join in? I almost finished my first cardigan sleeve on Tuesday during the darkest, wettest, dreariest day this year so far. I just had the shaping left to do at the top, and on Thursday I had another look and I had made a critical mistake at about row 8. Had to unravel nearly the whole of Tuesday's work. It is now in disgrace in my crochet bag, until I feel like picking it up again. Poo.

It seems that the most mistakes made are only noticed when you're about done... at least that's the way it works for me.

Here’s my crochet moan-along. I found a pattern for a cute baby blanket and bought the suggested yarn, Bernat Velvet, without reading the care instructions: hand wash, lay flat to dry. Totally impractical for a baby blanket. So I decided to chance machine washing and drying it. I hoped for the best but was prepared for it to be completely ruined...and it was. Live and learn. You TOTALLY win for moan-of-the-month. That really sucks. Such beautiful work on your part.

Thanks for commiserating with me, ladies. The good news is it was a small project that didn’t take me long. I’ve been resisting ordering the kit for the Nature’s Walk CAL...do you think I deserve it now after my debacle?

Pink Bud squares from this week are done - did the last 2 while finishing up watching Ken Burns Country Music tonight. 3 Sunshine squares left to go.
I did end up getting all 8 gray squares blocked on Tuesday. But still have 16 squares to block once I finish the Sunshine squares.

I sewed all my log cabin blocks together yesterday, it's pretty much the disaster I expected it to be! None of my seams match up and after a lot of unpicking and maybe some swearing I just sewed it together however it wanted to go I'm going to bag it out and tie it to hold it together, my friend's dog can use it to sit on when she comes round, hopefully, she won't be judging my shonky sewing

Oh dear! We're having a bit of a bad time craft-wise at the moment. Hugs all round. If I could quilt hugs together, and send the quilt round on a time-share for each person on here, I would. Wouldn't that be beautiful? A quilt made of hugs. I'm imagining something in all shades of purple with just a little glimmer.

I’m sorry lots of us are having a crafty blip. Mine is that I cannot do the start and ends of the 4 pattern repeat for Attic24 Dune blanket. I’ve tried the chart, reading the written instructions and writing it out so I can supposedly follow it - nope nope nope, can’t get it right grrr 😡

I can even take close up photos if that would help.
