Hello all...fall is upon us.
All kinds of releases still coming out for Christmas.
Stamptember just ended at Simon...Did anyone get anything? I didn't get anything this year. I'm in a freeze right now.
This weekend is National Card Making weekend isn't it?
Saturday I am going to the further away LSS I have 6 tickets in a draw .. win a 60second $300 shopping spree. You have to be there to win. So if I don't go for sure my name will be called...if I do go my name won't be called..lol but better to not win then win and not be eligible.
Then Sunday is my Art Journal class..our ATC swap was scary..I need to find my ATC's I made them back in July or something. Not sure I like them enough. I may re make them on Saturday night.
I have a day crop on October 26th, its with a CTMH rep. Going with a few friends , looking forward to that.
That is about it. I hope everyone is creative this month.

Woo-hoo! You have a lot of scrappy goodness going on.
Yesterday I ordered September photos. They include the first day of school pics. They're some of my fave to scrap, theme-wise.
I'm making a point of doing several autumn related events this month with the kids. I have some cool fall puffy stickers from Target Dollar Spot to use.
I'm in the fridge, so I'm trying hard not to spend money on stash. I'm allowing myself to spend money on events instead.

LOL, I'm spending on stash I bought paper at my LSS yesterday, and today I'm getting my cart ready for an order with ACOT. Probably no scrapping here until winter comes, but I have a day crop to look forward to later this month.

I ordered the Tim Holtz Stamptember set from SSS. Not my favorite but i was afraid I would have FOMO if it sold out (which it did). LOL Day crop with msliz later this month and then a 3 day retreat at the end of the month.

My photo order will show up tomorrow, just in time for DH to go on his boys weekend. I'll be home alone to play for 3 whole days!
I even enlisted DD to drive her grandmother to church on Sunday. I am staying in my pjs all weekend and NOT leaving the house, except for one lunch date.

Sounds like a wonderful weekend in your future, mikklynn ! I am off to grandparent a six year old for six days. Hoping to do some scrapping while he is in school Thursday/Friday/Monday. Need to get some photos and supplies kitted up to take. Have a crop the last weekend in October so looking forward to that. Your crop sounds like fun, scrappington . Hope your name is drawn even if you ARE there! Haven't spent any scrappy money this month yet--but it is only the 2nd! Have been drooling over Taylored Expressions October Release sneaks. I will be staying at my dd's which is close to the LSS who sends out bi monthly kits. If the Sept/Oct kits are available this next few days, I will drive over there and pick mine up. And I can't be trusted not to pick up other goodies if I see them in the store... LavenderLayoutLady, those autumn themed events are always the most fun to scrap. Hope you take lots of photos and get to play with all those pretty stickers and papers.

I have quite a bit of new supplies sitting on my desk waiting to be used. My scrap plans keep getting pushed aside for other things and if I don’t get some scrap time soon I’m going on strike. I’m not very good at scrapping for short periods of time. It takes me a while to get going once I sit down. I should try working on that this month. That would be a good goal for me.

I only placed 1 order in the beginning of Stamptember and got the balloon letters and the christmas cats set. I was looking forward to a few of them, but everything was some version of flower bundles or wreaths, which I don't need any. So not totally inspired there. I like Tim Holtz stuff, but don't really have a need for halloween.
I have a crop next weekend. I am debating continuing working on pages I have ready to go or in progress, or just working on a design for Christmas cards. I know what I want to do, it's not too complicated, and I only make maybe 10 cards, so trying to decide how to spend my crop day.
I also just purchased my first filofax clipbook that I want to try to make like a commonplace book, maybe somewhat planner/log. Not sure yet. I don't have a lot of time to scrap or craft at all these days, so I am trying to think smaller format, something quick I can do at night before bed or even maybe on my lunch break. I've been doing the same bullet journal format for a couple years, so not sure if I am going to switch from that or just have this be more of a crafty book.
Anyone have a clipbook?

I’m doing another employees work this week & next week and he scheduled himself to start before my start time. So my supervisor said I can stop 1/2 hour early too!
While it’s the same total hours it just seems so excellent to leave 1/2 hour before I normally do so I have a new set of photos to finish up my self reflection project that I did not finish in sept
I’m looking forward to afternoon scrapping

I’m thinking of driving down to crop with msliz and @ihavetoomuchstuff later this month. I went in August and had a lovely time. I have a big crop in November that I need to start getting pictures sorted for soon.

I have 2 of my regular crops this month. I am almost finished with my trip to California photos. I think I could have those finished at the next crop night.
I like to keep up with my DGD's photos as well and I will work diligently to get those caught up for September at the very least.
Lastly, my son has been keeping me busy with some photos from school where he is a teacher. I will keep those up as well.
As usual a busy scrap month!

This is silly. DD dyed her hair teal, and I'm secretly thrilled thinking about all the fall scrapbook papers that have teal in them! I was fine passing them by before because I wanted to use up my stash, but now I NEED them! LOL

Well I didn't win the shopping spree...or any of the other prize packs.
It took 8 tickets to actually pull a name of someone who was there.

I have been shopping like crazy for the last five weeks but have only made one layout! I need to create a page or two tomorrow so I feel better about my purchases. I did not order any of the new AE DD products but I did order the AE red album kit from HSN. The kit is a fantastic value and I’m so glad I didn’t spend $100+ on DD products this year. Between this new kit and my current stash, I’ll be fine.

I really wanted to do some scrapbooking today. So I spent an hour screwing around with my Selphy printer which has decided not to recognize any photos and just says they are the wrong file type. Moved onto my inkjet printer and spent another hour battling various errors and paper jams. I finally got 1 4x6 photo printed. I wanted to put three on my layout but you know what? 1 is good enough after all that! Cut out one of those big title cut files that seems to be popular and lucky for me my Silhouette didn't pull any shenanigans. Now I have the title and the photo sitting on a background and I am drawing a blank on what else to do.

I think I officially have too many enamel dots?
But can one really have too many enamel dots? The colors on those Gina Marie designs dots are sublime. There were colors I did not buy believe it or not. I guess I need new enamel dots storage.
Tomorrow I’m going to rummage around in my closet to see if I have a basket & put them on my window ledge by my desk. They are so pretty. Right now they are just sitting on my desk so I can look thru them. I have already used some. And I made a card simply to match my enamel dots.

hop2 to answer your question, no, you can’t have too many enamel dots! I just ordered several new sets of enamel dots and I loooooooove them! I ordered sets from Carta Bella and Echo Park, but I may order a few new sets from Doodlebug, too.

I went on a short (for me) 6 hr crop yesterday and bought my first enamel dots. So we will see how it goes, I really like how they look on other people's stuff, so I am excited about that.

I haven’t scrapped in quite a while. I’ve been busy and my mojo took a dive. Plus my pictures are still sitting on my phone. I’m ready to get started again so I bought a card kit from Spellbinders (just wasn’t up to assembling one from my stash). My kit arrived yesterday and I’m looking forward to getting started on that next weekend. I’m also sending a bunch of photos out to be developed so I’ll have those to scrap as well.

Two friends and I just got back from a cropping weekend in the mountains. One of my friends was given the weekend home of a friend of hers for our use. It was a three bedroom/four bathroom 3,000 sf "cabin" in the Rocky Mountains. It was gorgeous and the perfect setting for scrapping. We were about 200 yards away from the entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Forest. Within a 15 minute drive into the park, we saw about 200 elk bugling and grazing. There was a little town with great restaurants and shopping about a five minute drive away. In spite of all of the wonders of nature, we did a fair amount of scrapping. We got there Thursday night and left Sunday afternoon. I am almost caught up with 2019 layouts. I think I have just four more sets of pictures to scrap. Now I just need to get the motivation to unpack it all.

I managed to get about half a dozen projects completed last week. But I am finding that I am really struggling with embellishing / finishing touches on a page. I am thinking that maybe I need to look at how I'm organising my stash so that I can easily go through and choose embellishments that will coordinate to finish off a layout. I'm also finding myself really torn between wanting to create for the sake of creating, and just for myself. And wanting to record / share what I'm making on YouTube/social media
