Good Morning Peas!!! So I picked "Holidays" for my theme this year!! I've seen a lot of chatter about Christmas cards and our annual swap so I thought I'd toss out a couple of Christmas Cards for today!! The CHALLENGE part?? Layers! Doesn't matter how many... or what shapes, colors, textures... just add some layers!! ETA: Feel free to do ANY Holiday!  Let's see what you've got!! Here are a few for inspiration!   |

These are great cards, Mel . Can the "holidays" be any holiday, or do you want specifically Christmas? I have lots of Christmas cards to make, but a few Halloween ones to finish too. I just edited the OP, ANY holiday!! I just happened to post Christmas. LOL |

Great cards Mel and a great challenge. I like that you've shown that layers doesn't have to mean tons and tons of messy layers. I hadn't seen your challenge until late in the day but I coincidentally did add a few layers here and there to some simple cards I was making today. Sometimes I keep things a bit *too* simple, but an extra matting layer and some little banner details pepped the designs right up. |

Nice card, Linda! I decided to rummage through a container of fall scraps, and I made a Halloween card with layers using mostly those scraps, as well as a very old but favorite Halloween stamp.  |

Linda, I love that paper with the birds. Cute card with the bare trees and the sentiment, let it snow. (but I'm not ready for snow!) scrapnnana, I love your coloring on the kitty and pumpkin. Cute use of the spider web and bats. Too cute to be scary! LOL azcrafty, your card is gorgeous. I left love in the gallery. Here is mine. I was trying to use up a bunch of pieces left from a Card Club evening. Seems I always have a bunch of scrap pieces left over.  Layered Christmas cards
