Hey peas! I've seen YouTubers with large containers of embossing powder and so I'm wondering, is it sold in bulk somewhere? I'd love to get hold of a bulk amount of clear fine powder if such a thing exists ☺️

I'm curious about this too -- I'm looking for quality white embossing powder in bulk. A long time ago when I sold CTMH, consultants could order bulk embossing powder.

I saw on a YouTube video years ago, may have been Jennifer McGuire, where she had poured her embossing powder into a bigger container and stores it in there. She also would attach a mini spoon the inside of the lid. Could this be like what you are seeing? I have a container for white, black & clear since they are my most used colors.
The little containers that embossing powder come in are packed. When you dump it into the bigger container it spreads out. KWIM?

My issue is those dinky jars of embossing powder that can cost $5 to $8 for half an ounce to an ounce. I don't want to buy five or six of those jars -- I want one large jar or bag.

Ok, I see. I guess I don't emboss much, so I'm still on my jars from 8 or more years ago.

Someone once said in a class that embossing powder can go bad/spoil. Not sure exactly how if it doesn’t get wet or hot and the teacher never explained it.
Thoughts?

I am not a big time stamper/embosser but I have had my embossing powers for at least 5 years (some longer than that) and they are fine. I did have to purchase a new embossing ink pad (or whatever its called) but that was more because I left it out and it dried up.

I did have some clear embossing powder turn a pale yellow. I’m not really surprised since it’s basically plastic. I got curious about what is really in the powder and the article I found even tells you how to make your own, although I doubt I’d do it. Here’s a link. DIY embossing powder

The only type/color of embossing powder I've ever had issues with is white detail powder. It seems to lose its ability to melt smoothly.

I got a big bottle of Wow Embossing powder at Walmart.com (actually from Walmart) a couple of years ago with free shipping to the store. I just checked and seems like they still have some.

Ebay is where you can find bulk embossing powder. I think VivaLasVegas still will sell you bulk embossing powder. I know if you contact them they can either sell it to you or give you a good resource. Stampo always helped me with those things.
