I picked two up 6x8 packs yesterday. I had DD with me, so we had 2 coupons to use. Jen Hadfield's This is Family and One Canoe Two's Willow
I'll be near a JoAnn's again on Saturday, so I'm going to pop back in and see what else I can find. I really want to buy individual 12x12 papers, but there's no way I'll pay full price. I'm hoping it'll all be on sale and I can buy it all at once and skip the stupid coupon garbage.

Exciting! Can you post a link to the pic? Thanks! The picture was shared in a Instagram story and it’s now gone. Pebbles did talk about their line coming to Joanns recently.

wow... I just did the math, and (assuming I did the math correctly, which is always questionable)... those 6x8 inch pads are 1/3 the amount of paper (48 square inches per sheet compared to 144 square inches in a 12x12 sheet). But the price listed in your link ($8 for the paper pad) is 2/3 the price of the 12x12 piece, at $1 per sheet. That's a nice profit for the paper companies- 1/3 the paper for 2/3 the price per square inch. Even more money, for less product!!
Why are they creating 6x8 pads, anyway? What's that size supposed to be 'for' ? if you cut it in half one direction you get a 4x6 piece, but that's not even the right size for a card front.
eta: sorry for taking the thread a whole different direction. The difference in size / cost just really struck me.

Stopped into my Joanns and no new paper for us yet! The old collections are still on clearance at .25.

The difference in size / cost just really struck me. Both for 6x8" albums as janamke said, and also for people doing Traveler's Notebook/many planner layouts. The 6x6 pads are great for cardmakers but too short for TNs. I quite like the 6x8 paper size because, as you said, you can cut it in half and get two 4x6s, which could be useful for pocket pages or photo mats (if you trim the photo a wee bit) and for cards I can get two card fronts (4x5.25") out of each page.

The difference in size / cost just really struck me. It always floor me how BH (and others) can sell the card kits for so much money when I see how much they are charging for 3 x 4's and 4 x 6's. If you were to add them up to a couple pieces of paper, you often see them sell for $15 and up. It is like 2-4 bucks a sheet sometimes.

Stopped into my Joanns and no new paper for us yet! The old collections are still on clearance at .25. My JoAnn's had the old stuff for clearance also, but they put the new packs up above the racks (about 6 feet high). They just let them sit there for weeks and weeks until they decide to display them. Pretty soon people will start opening the packs and taking what they want. I can't remember the paper line name, but it was the one with the sloths and popsicles (Wild Damask maybe?), they have a new line coming out with the same bright colors, but they are in different patterns.

My guess would be that by doing an 6x8 pad over a 6x6 pad - you are still selling to those who like 6x6, but now have an in with those that do travelers notebooks. those are 4x8 correct?

My JoAnn had Willow by OneCanoeTwo, Heritage Maggie Holmes, the new Family one from Jen Hadfield, and She's Magic from Dear Lizzy.
FYI- papers are 75% off this week, including these new lines and Bazzil. Mine rang up .24 each. 🥰

Some of my shelves hold extra stock up on the top of them... often hiding. Most JoAnn's I have been to keep extra stock above the customer's head.

I'm about to take it to a whole nother dimension and ask what Yellow Seed you are again lol ... because you put 144 (thanks or that reminder with the 144 connected to scrapbooking.. I might title an album: All 144 inches ... or Inch by Inch we get to 144 ("inch by inch we get closer" song).. or something that has the 144 in it because I will have pages in them that have 144 in the photos, like the amount of hours I got for my vacation KIN 144 is Yellow Magnetic Seed and I read this at 4:22, 224 is also a Yellow Seed as well but I can't remember which middle word it is. Ok hijack over

Yay! I got some new paper at .24 each too!
There were no signs on the new stuff. They must have just put everything out because everything was in stock. The signs by the other paper said no specialty paper, but that is the foil, vellum,, glitter, etc papers. I think they do not put signs by the good stuff on purpose.
ETA: I forgot to add that all the embellishments that were $3.99 before are now $4.99. And Horizon and Sunny Days were still in with the new stuff, with new lovely prices of $4.99 for embellishments also.

I finally got the new collections! Yay!! They had all the embellishments out as well, but I am holding off on getting them til they are on sale. With Halloween coming up, they should be having a big sale soon. I will say I didn't like Maggie's new line as much as I thought I would. But Jen Hatfields line? LOVED that one, unexpectedly.

I managed to get there while the individual sheets were on sale, and I bought the same way. Only picked up a few of the Maggie's, but tons of Jen Hadfield. I only wish I liked her embellishments more. Her stuff is always very wordy (thank you, thinking of you, ...) and seems to be geared more toward cardmakers rather than scrapbookers, but the B-sides are perfect for me. I bought a lot of the 1Canoe2 paper too.

That way I don't have to buy actual embellishments and the 3 x 4 cards can be the titles and they usually make cute embellishments too. All for 24 cents.
